Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought these couple months after I got my PlayStation 4. some of my friends were on PS and I needed a mic. that little tiny earphone one sucks that's included with the console and since I mainly game on my PC and xbox one, I thought well maybe an ok cheap headset will work for me. I wont be on long and they'll last long. nope. I hardly used them maybe like once/twice a week and the 3.5m jack that connects to the controller took a crap on me. it emits a lot of crackling noise and feedback now when I bump into the jack since its very stiff or when just moving too quickly. they still work and I can hear but it now sounds like my friends have to shout and the volume is cranked up all the way. Turtle Beach is an awesome brand and I've used them in the past, the sound is clear for a $40 headset and the bass is good in them. quality is good too but maybe I just got a defective set. upgraded to the stealth 700's though.. if youre an occasional user, these are fine. if youre not then get the 700's
