A: No, you don't need an adapter for the current models on the Xbox Controller, if you have the older ones you will need one. And this doesn't come with one, but you can easily mute yourself and lower the volume with a small tool on the cord.

turtle beach headset
The sound is very very crisp when playing games like call of duty MW2. The mic picks up your voice very well. In the end this headset is durable and light not heavy when wearing for long periods of time.

SOUND QUALITY A 10 OUT OF 10
So far so good. I gave my boyfriend this for valentines day and so far its worked amazing. Sound quality is great and has a detachable mic. Works for xbox 1s. Pretty good price as well.
