I absolutely love these headphones! The sound is super clear and the bass hits just right, especially for gaming and watching movies. The mic picks up my voice really well without background noise, so my friends can hear me perfectly on calls. They’re lightweight and the ear cushions are really soft, so I can wear them for hours without my ears hurting. The design looks even better in person and feels like good quality for the price. Definitely worth it and I would recommend these to anybody!

Turtle beach is known for the headsets, and the Atlas 200 is a budget wired offering from them. Sporting a grey/white design with emboldened Playstation logos, this headset keeps no secret its alignment to gaming. What is surprising is that it does a lot more, and fairly well. Opening the box reveals fairly simple packaging. The headphones sit in a cardboard tray packaged in plastic. Removing them you’ll find the wired cable is about a meter in length. The cable terminates in a 3.5mm CTIA headphone jack, which despite being the Playstation controller’s primary remote audio feels decidedly retro in 2025. The headset itself has decent initial build quality. Taking a closer look at construction, the headband is super flexible and tough. This is a good thing in a headset, as I’ve had numerous headsets break. The underlying construction appears to be steel sheathed in plastic. The headset, in the white variant, has a blue elastic band that’s adjustable. At first blush it simply looks like a flourish of color, but it’s actually adjustable. The plastics in use seem strong, and there is absolutely no creaking noises. The Turtle Beach logo is embossed on each ear and the overall look is quite clean. The headset itself is quite comfortable to wear. The ear cushions are very soft and comfortable foam. They do appear easily replaceable. They’re covered in a soft microfiber material which should wear fairly well. There is an analogue volume control on the left ear cup, which is a nice touch. The microphone is on the same ear cup, and has a decent action. There are 3 positions the microphone can be in, 2 of which are muted. The fully extended active, flip up slightly to mute, and stowed away for primary headphone usage. Honestly in my PS5 usage, I simply plug the headphone into the 3.5mm jack on the controller and go. I don’t do a lot of chatting with the microphone during my gaming. I found the sound details were quite nice. I was able to pick up subtle details in the sound design of several games that I missed using just TV speakers. The usage of a CTIA jack means this headset works flawlessly with many other devices than the PS5. This includes my Macbook Pro, where I did give the microphone a good workout. I found that the audio from the mic was clear and loud. I wouldn’t put this up against a dedicated microphone, and the little bitty amount of foam only somewhat controls pop, but the microphone is better than most in this price range. Another thing that was obvious from hooking up to my laptop: The audio quality is quite nice for the price. Unlike many headphones, this headset isn’t pushing bass too far. The lack of a heavy V curve means you get a pretty natural sound. The bass extension is quite good, without being overwhelming. The mids and highs are well balanced for a headset like this, so you’ll find it quite nice for just normal audio listening. That’s saying a lot as my opinion on many cans (over the ear headphones) are pretty rough. These headphones impressed me. Sound isolation is fairly solid given the foam ear pads. I was very immersed using these, and my kids had to really get my attention when I was playing. What a great feature. Overall I’ve been quite happy with the Turtle Beach headphones. These are a great set that goes beyond the PS5 as far as usage. What was surprising to me was the raw audio quality of these drivers and the overall sound quality. While primarily a noise isolating gaming headset, it is capable of offering really solid music performance as well. The microphone is more than adequate for chatting, and the style is top notch. Highly recommended.

Wow.... Super comfy, lightweight, Headphones. And works really well with folks who have glasses. Nice silver color. Totally stands out from the standard black ones. Setup was super simple. Plug it in and your are done. Since it is not wireless you are limited with mobility. But if you plug into wireless controller you are now wireless. So.you can couple it with a wireless controller that has as headphone Jack. The mic boom up feature is nice. You flip it up and you are on mute. Great feature when you don't want to click on PC to mute or cover the mic with your hand ect.. Game play was nice. Wired means Zero lag. Mic use on multiplayer game was super nice and easy to use. I let my kid try it out on his geometry dash on PC and it did fine. Since it was wired. No lag. Comfort was super nice. 3 hours straight play and no ear or head fatigue. My kid wears glasses so it worked around his glasses. Adjustability is for small or medium size heads was a ok. It does not really adjust. But lucky our heads worked out for the design. Nice feel and weight. So I would make sure you try these out before you buy them as head size might be an issue. Also if you want wireless these are not for you. Lightweight, different color, wired, all pluses.
