It is a lighter headset and wont get hot on your head. I owned my headset for a year before it started shorting out. It's ok for the money but if you can save up I suggest purchasing a better built one. However if you cannot I suggest getting the geek protection add on at checkout.

Turtle Beach Headphones Rule!!

My son loves these!

His friends can hear him perfectly. Although, just like any other headset, you can hear everything else in the room but doesn’t drown you out. The mic is detachable, which may not be a good thing if you loose items a lot. He likes to take it off when he doesn’t want to talk to anyone and has learned to place the mic somewhere he doesn’t forget. We looked at various headsets with mics, and this one is the winner, he loves it!
