It is a lighter headset and wont get hot on your head. I owned my headset for a year before it started shorting out. It's ok for the money but if you can save up I suggest purchasing a better built one. However if you cannot I suggest getting the geek protection add on at checkout.

Only reason I say 4 star is due to the quality. You get what you pay for. Other than that they are really great headphones if you need a replacement for awhile before upgrading.
