Great headset i can really hear the littlest thing

Excellent headphones for gaming, great price I recommend it

This set of headphones are fantastic for the price point. They have a great sound to them that immerses you into the game, music, or show you're watching. I had them on for over an hour and felt comfortable and didn't have any issues. The cushions were adequate and the fit/feel was great. I like the fact that I could easily hear low sounds, water dripping, high sharp sounds, and gun reloads all so clearly. I'm impressed with the sound and clarity as nothing sounded muffled or distorted. The flip up/down microphone is easy to use and smoothly operates when you need to use it. The mic picks up on your voice clearly and never distorts your audio. Overall the cushions are comfortable on your ear and feel good. The headphones are fairly lightweight and don't feel like you're carrying something heavy as you move around. The surround sound is great at this price point as it allows me to hear the audio move from channel to channel and move left to right. These are 3.5 mm audio jack headphones so they're very versatile. Can be used for any gaming system that uses the 3.5 mm audio jack. I also can use these with my mobile device and I love it. One set of headphones that can be used from gadget to gadget. Well worth the money on these. Can't go wrong.

I really enjoy these headsets. I have found that even though this headset is for the Xbox One gaming system, these aren't only for that system. I have used them for my Nintendo Switch and my Gaming Laptop. Now I haven't tried them on the PS4 yet, but if you look on the box, it clearly states that it does, in fact, work for that system as well. Now, with that being said, Turtle Beach does make Recon 70 headsets specifically for the other consoles. So now I'm just going to say that it's going to boil down to your color preference. I really love the green & black of the Xbox version. That 3.5 mm connection is the best. The sound quality is delicious, the comfort is top notch and the mic is clear. I thought I would have issues with these, mostly because of the price point. But no. This are great, for Turtle Beach's low end wired headsets. I have nothing but high praises for these. Ive had this headset for 2 years its still holding up, mic sounds good, and the audio is good aswell. I would recommend this headset to anyone who’s looking for a cheap budget friendly headset for a console.

These things are very comfortable to wear, the sound is great through game play and speech. Wore them during game play for a little over an hour or so... (2hours) ... playing Battlefield and GOW. Cord length is perfect to place controller down and jump on the mobile to send out a quick message. Looking forward to additional game play as time allows.

For the price i think these have been ecellent. comfortable; the built in mic that folds up is very convenient; everything works really well with Xbox 1 gaming. Have used them for over a month and no issues

Well, I purchased a XBox One S and I needed a Headset with a Mic so I could talk and listen with other players that I play with on different games. I looked at several different Headphones and Headsets. I decided on the Turtle Beach Recon 70 Wired StereoGaming Headset for Xbox One. It Has a 3:5mm jack that just plugs right into the Controller. Plus the Actual Headphones look and feel very Comfortable and very padded. It has a built in Mic on the Headphone, when you flip it up it is suppose to mute your Voice. The price point seemed overall a good value between all of the other options between the top of the line and the bottom tier. So I went with the Middle Tier. Just for Full Disclose: I will say I still have not actually had the opportunity to use the headset and mic and talk with anyone or listen through the Headset. Before you go out and purchase anything I suggest go and do your research and compare all your choices and use any Rewards or Coupons or Vouchers. NEVER pay full price for anything if you don’t have to. Any remember this, if your Item is less than $100.00 please think twice before purchasing a Protection Plan that the Store is trying to sell you. 99% it is NOT worth it and a waste of your money.

Here is a reality check...know those headphones that you bought which were fairly expensive? They break too and it can get pricey especially in a economy where money might not be coming in like it used to. These headphones fit great, sound quality is good, and are lightweight. Best part...$40! Don’t pay 2X, 3X, or more for a set! Are they really worth 400% more? These are great!

These are comfortable to wear and maintain good sound. Others can hear you clearly. Not as durable as other higher-end brands but as long as you care for them and not toss around, these should provide many hours of gaming pleasure for a reasonable price.

Good sound quality, doesnt feel overly cheap, and the mic fold out of the way

Searching for a gaming headset on the budget can be tough sometimes. When I came across the TURTLE BEACH® RECON 70 gaming headset, I was expecting more out of it. When I first pulled them out of the box, I immediately noticed that the quality wasn't all that great. I didn't think too much of it and began gaming with them. The very first thing I noticed when gaming is that the padding on the Recon 70 headset is that the padding is very thin, and got somewhat uncomfortable after a while of gaming. Another thing that I noticed was the sound quality was not very good. It lacked clarity, which was a disappointing. Something else that I noticed is that the crossover wire, which is thin, for the right ear piece is exposed in some ares (see image). This makes me worry in terms of how long this headset will last, but only time will tell. The TURTLE BEACH® RECON 70 gaming headset is lightweight and hold tight around my head. Overall, I would say that the TURTLE BEACH® RECON 70 gaming headset is more of a weekend gamer type of headset. Might also be good for parents who are looking for a budget friendly gaming headset option for their teenage gamer.

Overall enjoying this headset, they are comfy and have great sound. I can wear them for hours and have my glasses on with hardly any pressure points on my head. The cons: I am not a fan of how you turn the mic on and off, have to reposition the mic up and down. Also when I want to charge my controller while playing and in a party, my friends say they can hear a static/high pitched noise. I am not sure if it is the headphones doing that or just my controller/Xbox. I had no problems with my last headset. For the cost of the headset I can put up with the minor things, just had to get in the habit of charging my controller when not in a party chat.

Fairly comfortable, your ears will touch the drivers but the mic is amazingly good for the price. Edit: After having having them six months later I'm happy to say that the headphones still work just as the day they were opened. The only downside to these I would say is the fact that long gaming sessions tend to leave your ears and the top of your head with some pain as the padding on these are minimal ESPECIALLY on the headband! Other than that, great sound and an even better Mic make this a decent headphone for the pricepoint.

For LESS than 50 dollars, I am amazed. The comfort, quality and ease of use is perfect. The flip up mic to mute comes in handy. Also, not spending too much on a headset also makes me happy. I will definatley re purchase this headset.

I got this and the white/green color for both of my boys to use while playing fortnite and apex. The headset is comfortable and very adjustable. The flip to mute mice is a nice feature, just be sure to not flip it farther back than what the guide says or it can damage the mic. I wish they made the mic not be able to be pushed farther than the recommended setting so that "damage" concerns could be eliminated. The green accents fit the xbox color scheme nicely. The green cable is a nice added touch. They've reported no audio issues and their teammates can hear them clearly.
