the prong broke soon after bought it....my son threw it away out of anger of the defect or i would have returned for a refund

I purchased these for my grandson to game with. I tried everything to get them up and going but nothing worked. I think I may have just got a bad set, not sure. I read all the reviews and they were highly recommended but they just failed work at all. Instead I purchased the Sony Fortnite Gold Wireless Headset which is superb.

Could hear sound but mic didn’t work. My kiddo was not happy

My 7 year old loved it! But it got jammed in the game console and broke- within 3 months of purchase.

The mic stopped working 23 days later. Tried contacting Best Buy several times but no answer...Therefore, had to go purchase a different one else where on June 15th. Was not going to stress myself over this with everything else going on around us!

With only moderate use this will be the 3rd pair of these headphones I’m returning. I will be going with a different brand next time. These do not last at all, each pair I’ve had breaks within a month. Two main problems. 1) the aux plug wire is flimsy and gets a bad connection. 2) half the time only one side works.

Worked great for two days and then you could not hear anything. Returned

Good head phones but the wire was not so great ripped with in 4 months.

Not happy, bought this based on reviews and that it was the Turtle Beach brand. My son barely used the headset and it just stopped working 18 days after purchase, just long enough to be outside of the Best Buy return window :(

The Turtle Beach RECON series is pretty consistent - Good wired headsets, lightweight but not flimsy, and this new 70 series fits better than all of the others I've tried. We have a few "gamers" in the family thanks to the recent craze of Battle Royale games available on multiple platforms, so we're all constantly engaging in chat, or just using headsets to isolate the "noise" of the game to the person playing. The RECON 70 is the lightest headset I've used, and the number of us that play with it varies from an 11-year old, up to their 37-year-old dad who has a "larger than average" head. This headset manages to fit snugly but comfortably for all of us. In fact, this has swayed me to consider replacing my Microsoft official XBOX One headset for a Turtle Beach RECON since it works so well on the Switch. Sound quality was good - I'd expect nothing less from an industry leader. Chat volume was normal and voice was received clearly. Surprised that the short little boom mic sounded so good on the other end. It doesn't SEEM like it will carry your voice well but does a good job. What few controls exist were easily felt and accessible and the response was good to volume changes, etc. Just basics, but GOOD basics. All in all, this is a solid headset that feels a little plasticky, but additional weight would have added to fatigue and discomfort, so its an all-around great wired option.

After 2 weeks of my son using the piece that he talks into no longer works and they can't be returned. These need to be made better or a longer window to return. So disappointed and he saved and used his own money too! Waste of money!

The mic stopped working today, ten days past the return window. So I paid a dollar a day to use these. Not worth it at all! Anything should last over 40 days.

For 39.99 the Recon 70 is a solid affordable headset. Pros: They look nice and build quality is actually good. The flip mic to mute is something you don't typically find at this price point. They can get loud and bass has some punch to it something that previous TB headsets were lacking. Ear Cups are very comfortable to use even with glasses. They also work with other gaming consoles besides the Switch. The volume knob is easily accessible and to control. Cons: Would have preferred a detachable cord instead of the attached one. Sounds lack crisp and detailed. Is not a muddy sound but is not clear and it's noticeable if you're coming from a high-end gaming headset. Overall for an inexpensive gaming headset, they're pretty good. As long your not an audiophile person you will not be disappointed on how they sound.

This game headset have problem with foam on headset that falls off after just 30 days unable to return after 30 day could not get a warranty on headset

After playing for about two weeks , the right right of the headset stopped working . Really frustrating !

Bad quality headset had issues with it but it was late to return it and get a re found

These didn't last very long. There seems to be an issue with the mic. I can hear teammates but they can't hear me.

Just work fine for two weeks. right side speaker stopped working No answers from support. just trashed.

My sons mic worked for one day. I haven't even had the time to return the product for a return. Complete waste of time
