I like that when wearing, surrounding noise is minimized due to the good coverage around the ears, and when the mic is rotated upwards, the mute feature turns on which is much better than manually turning the mute button on/off on the laptop. Also, the sound quality is excellent! Price is reasonable for what you get.

So we went to the gaming isle and seen all the Turtle Beach headsets. My oldest son had the $99.99 head set and he love it. My son Nicholas was bent on getting the Turtle Beach headset. So we purchased the $39.99 set and let me tell you... my son loves them. The work just as good as the $99.99 headset, I have to go purchase 2 more sets for my gamers in the house.
