    Not great at all. The microphone stops working and the headset needs to be turned off and on regularly.

    It's barely functional on a PC for some reason. If you're thinking about getting one of these, get something else. Buy five logitech headsets. Buy 10 packs of cigarettes. Buy a geek bar and relapse on nicotine.

    Nice headset but at the end of the day, the stupid thing stopped working entirely at some point and despite hours of trying to pair it back to the USB on both PC and PS5 it refuses to work. I will never buy this ever again.

    Audio stops working in weeks. Hard Pass

    Don't buy these. The audio stops working and every trick you find online is useless. A quick search shows these headsets have this issue in common. I bought these in January 2025 and they worked great the 1st time. Its now March and my headset is useless and of course I am outside of Best Buy's return window so a $75 brick.

    Solid Entry-Level Headset But Question Durability

    I have had several Turtle Beach Gaming headsets ranging from wired to wireless. I have always liked the quality of their products and they have worked very well with PC and the PlayStation. With the Turtle Beach Stealth 500 Wireless Gaming Headset, Turtle Beach has another fine quality headset for their collection. One of the big advantages of this headset is that it is built for comfort. Some other headsets are rigid and tight. After a while of wearing them, the headset can become tight on the head and hot on the ears. I did not notice that with this headset. The headset is secure on the head without being too tight. The adjustable strap allows you to set it just right for your head size. Also, the ear cups can go comfortably over your ears without getting too hot. As far as sound quality goes, this is a very good headset. While playing FortNite or MLB the Show or other games, the sound quality is clear. You can adjust the sound with different presets. The bass levels are strong and even the high pitch does not distort. Voice comm is clear as well. The mic does a good job of not popping on certain words. Teammates are also easily heard and understood. I was very pleased with the battery life of the headset. The information lists that the battery life is good for 40 hours. I am not sure about that completely. What I can say is I played on it about a week, and I did not need to charge the headset. I figured I had at least 20 hours of use with it and it worked fine. If you even occasionally charge this headset, you should have very little problems. In a worst-case scenario, you can even use it while charging. Most people will use this headset near the PS5 or PC. I tried it on both systems and the headset worked great (although you do need to select a switch on the dongle to determine which you are using). But if you are in a chat and still need to make a run to the fridge, the headset has good range. I was able to go downstairs with my headset on and still stayed in chat with my teammates. There were a couple of negatives that I observed while trying this headset. The first is that it uses a USB Type A connector. So, if you have one of the original PS5 consoles, the dongle connects easily on the front. However, if you have a newer PS5 Slim console, the dongle will not go it the front. You will have to mount it in the back of the unit. This is not necessarily a big deal but may be an annoyance to some. I would personally rather have the dongle be a USB Type C connector so that it would work easily with either of the PS5 consoles. However, since it can also be used with a PC, the USB Type A is what you are left with. The other question I have is one of durability. While the headset is very comfortable, it may be so at the expense of being a bit less durable. The headset components are thin and light. I am not sure that the headset will last years with putting on and taking off. I am worried that it could wear out quicker than on hopes. I do not know this for sure, but the headset does have that feel. In the end, I really enjoyed the Turtle Beach Stealth 500 Headset. It has great sound and is very comfortable to wear. If you are looking for a good entry level headset, this one is definitely one to look at. I recommend it to all.
