Great Headphones

Easy recommend.

Worthless mic

I updated the firmware and it still sounds quiet and distant, this isn't a bug. I took the headset from my Xbox to my PC and the quality its locked at is 16000HZ tape recorder quality--it is 2024 Turtle Beach, how would you think this would be acceptable. The sound is decent and I have to think the five star reviews are from people that aren't worried about mics or have friends with low quality mics as well. It was open box, or I'd just return it, it barely feels worth the hassle and it's clear why its open box.

Not Durable but Good Sound

Definitely will need the protection as the headset snapped in half twice and I had to use the insurance twice. The part where the headset expands is very fragile so if it falls off the head or off a couch and hits something there then it can crack in half. I wouldn’t buy these again if I didn’t have the insurance.
