(Mine was open box and had no user manual.) The only issue I had was a brief moment where the only soind that came through was deafening static. I simply changed usb ports on my console and it fixed the problem.

But does have some weird problems. I had sound from the left in right ear and right sound in left ear. Had to turn off PS and restart to solve problem. The microphone echos when volume up to loud. Also had a problem where it is some crackling noises. Had to shut off and restart to take care of problem. Also had a problem where I couldn’t turn the headset off. But most of the problem have only happen once.
