This is a known issue with Turtle Beach, but they haven't found a solution yet. They say unplug the usb adpater during the game and it will work, but it hasn't worked for me.

If so, this does not appear to be an issue on the end of the headset itself but rather on the end of the console or game you're playing. Our engineers are working with Xbox to find the exact cause of the problem and work out a solution

I purchased this because both of my kids have one and for the price it’s the best product out there !!! My son’s is 2 years old and still works fine.

Sound quality is great. The only thing I would've preferred was that the mic and headset volume controls were on separate sides.
