I bought these for my teenage son. He loves them! The process in the store was awesome! Knowledgeable help was instrumental in finding the right product!

They work too well. My son doesn’t know that he is yelling into the mic when has the headphones on. My wife and I have to tell him multiple times to stop yelling.

This headset is a good one. But one thing I would change about this headset is that the noise canceling part isn’t really taking its title. But the volume makes me thing that I’m actually in the game it’s great. But overall this headset is a game changer.

i bought these for my boyfriend and he really enjoys these. i don't know a single thing about headphones like this but he like the feature where adjusting the ears aren't on the top which is nice since the other model had it there which caused it to break

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Amplified gaming headset is one of many headsets in the budget category. I never been over enamored with any of the budget headsets, but Stealth 600 Gen 2 does check off a lot of the boxes of what I am looking for in a headset. Let’s look at the features, function and benefits as well as some of the shortcomings. Connectivity – Since this was “designed for Xbox,” the connection was as simple as connecting a controller. Simply plug in the USB dongle and the Stealth 600 connects immediately. This is a strong point to me; I’ve always hated a tethered to controller head set or a complicated base set up. This simply plugs in and is ready. I did notice an error in the quick start guide, it shows a switch on the dongle. In fact, it was the wrong quick start guide overall – it listed Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max. Construction – Keep in mind that is a sub $100 headset. As such, it is nearly all plastic. While that is not always a bad thing, it definitely is on the lower end in terms of durability. I would have concerns with it not holding up with children. The ear cups are a soft fabric, and they were very comfortable. Weight is on the lighter side compared to other headsets – one of the positive trade offs of using an all-plastic headset. Controls- I’ve read a few reviews where they raised concerns about sensitivity of the controls, I found them the complete opposite. I actually like them – a roller wheel for the overall volume, the same for the mic and simple mode button that changes the equalizer. I have headsets that are 4 times the price that have buttons instead of rollers and I prefer the design on the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 by far. Easy to use, easy to find and accurate. Sound – The audio sounds crisp and clear – far better than I expected. You will need to adjust the mode ( an equalizer of sorts) to your liking. I was disappointed at first but one click of the mode button made it sound better to me. The sound, for lack of a better word, seemed accurate. During games, footsteps were not too loud but very clear. Explosions sounded differently depending on the distance – just nearly everything sounded good. The mic was on point but watch the volume, you can easily pick up more background than is intended and I did not detect any noise cancellation. Regardless, my voice was clear and sounded very good during game play. Battery life - Turtle Beach claims 24 hours of battery life. That is hard to accurate test but I have been using in for several days for at least 16 hours and it is still going strong. In conclusion, the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Amplified gaming headset is a great priced headset for what it delivers. The audio quality is as good as some higher priced alternatives, the microphone is very clear, and the headset syncs to an Xbox in seconds. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 Amplified is just a strong performer that punches above its weight class.

I've always enjoyed any Turtle Beach product that I have received. I would have given this particular headset a 5, but the only downside to this particular wireless headset is that it isn't Bluetooth/controller connected. You have to plug in a USB receiver.

I love these! I have used many brands of gaming headsets over the years and these are the best by far. The sound quality and noise canceling is awesome.

The headphones’ sound quality is superb but the plastic around the screws near the speakers constantly crack and break due to the weight of the speakers. Constantly having to replace the Turtle Beach headphones is the worst.

Battery life is great, sound is hit or miss and hard to adjust, you have to use a computer to change settings which is a pain.
