    No more Turtle Beach - I’ll stick to Sony

    Comfortable, good sound, good battery life, convenient fold away mic. Unfortunately, the hardware is junk. Mic , which I rarely use, stopped working at some point. I didn’t notice because I was usually too busy trying to get them to reconnect every 10 minutes. Now they are pretty much bricked after a few months.

    I like that these work with the Nintendo switch. Just purchase a usb c to standard usb dongle for the wirelss transmitter that comes with the headset and the headset and microphone will both work on your switch.

    Inconsistent Pairing. It takes forever to pair

    These headphones take forever to connect. I have to physically pull the usb transmitter out and put it back in for it to pair and this problem is widespread. There are many reviews out there stating the same problem. The sound quality is just ok there is no deep bass whatsoever. I am currently looking at a new headset and wish I hadn't bought this about a month and a half ago. Not good headphones at all.

    I honestly regret buying these... They don't work! These headsets never connect when i turn them on I have to go and hold it up next to the chip for like 30 secs and they disconnect during the game!!!, and when they are connected my friends cant wear me sometimes even tho my mic is not muted so i had to disconnect and connect them again... I wouldn't recommend

    Good sound quality but I hate how it disconnects itself after awhile of gaming. It makes a static sound a lot and sometimes I won't be able to chat with other gamers after it disconnects itself and when I reconnect it.

    RIP. 08/03/2021 - 11/18/2022. They served their purpose and for a $100 I guess I shouldn't have expected much but they have finally crapped out on me. The audio still works, I can hear in game, however, it'd the microphone that has died and no longer works. I am left using the microphone on my ps5 controller to communicate with my teammates in game and using the actual headset to hear in game audio, i.e footsteps, etc. which is obviously not ideal. I noticed that there was an issue with the mic about a month or 2 ago when every time I would swing the mic down, I would hear static sound coming out of the headset. I don't really know the internal components but if i had to guess I'd the say the constant swinging up and down to turn on and off the mic has cause wear and tear on the wire hence why it no longer works.

    DO NOT BUY, much better headsets out there

    Headset is complicated to set up, requiring a firmware update. Does not have bluetooth capability so firmware update must be done on a windows or mac computer and requires 2 usb ports to connect, one for the adapter and one for the headset. It also feels cheaply made, made entirely out of plastic. The buttons feel cheap and have very little tactile feedback. I never know what volume I am at as there is no easy way to tell where your volume level is. The chat volume scroller is right next to the in game volume scroller so I always end up changing the wrong one. Finally, once I attempted to use the headset in chat, I noticed an extremely loud static sound once the mic was lowered, additionally no one in the party could hear me. Troubleshot online and it looks like an issue with the specific headset. This may be a manufacturing issue only with my headset, but really reflects on the poor quality control Turtle Beach set for this line of headsets. Extremely poor opening experience, spent over 2 hrs troubleshooting and ended up contacting Turtle Beach support. Waiting on a reply from them, but am planning on returning this as soon as possible.

    The first day I had got it everything worked fine but the next day I tried to use it I couldn’t hear anything my friends could hear me but I couldn’t hear them or the game and it had said my headsets connected and it had a solid blue light and it still didn’t work DONT recommended buying these

    Plastic is cheap. The ear piece has broken away from the head band on both sides. Only had about a year.

    Terrible Wireless Connection

    Gen 2 Turtle Beach headsets are having terrible wireless transmission problems. Garbled console and game audio, garbled chat audio, extremely long connection time, dropped connections, initial connection failure. I’ve bough and taken back 3 headsets in the last 2 weeks and they’ve all had this terrible wireless connection issue.

    Sound is inconsistent

    Very nice looking sleek design. Sound is horrible. Day one out of the box sound cuts in and out. Went through the pairing process several times. Sat less than 2ft away from the console. Didn't matter, the sound cut in and out constantly. So disappointed, this was a Christmas gift.
