Has to be something better

Something always seems to break on these. We have the protection plans so we just get another one and pay for the plan again. This is the brand that pairs best with my son's X-Box, so we keep getting a new one. There must be something else, but we haven't found it yet.

Hot Garbage

Right from the get go, I had nothing but trouble. They would constantly disconnect from my Xbox Series X and then I would have to re-boot the entire console to reconnect them.

Terrible Usability

It requires an app to adjust any settings and along with that the headset isn't bluetooth capable so don't think you can just use the app via your phone. In my case (and apparently many others online) the computer app's ability to sense the product being plugged in does not work so you actually have no capability to adjust the settings of the headset. When I'm referring to the setting I mean mic monitoring specifically which is incredibly heavy on this headset. I have every sound around me amplified back into my own ears. So every click of a controller will drive you crazy and there's nothing you can do about it. Couldn't express more strongly that you should not purchase this headset

Not the best on the market but no slouch
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to try out a new wireless headset from Turtle Beach as I’ve always been impressed with their products. This one is a solid headset for the price with a few caveats. Firstly the earphones are a little stiff, they may loosen as I use them more but my initial reaction was a bit rigid. The sound quality is really stellar though the “superhuman” hearing function seemed to push the limits of the treble end of the sound quality. The real quarrel I had with these was the mic. It’s hot. Like HOT. It has a function for active monitoring of your own input which is nice so you’re not yelling into the mic. But unfortunately it’s so sensitive that it picks up every click and movement of my controller. I asked the people I was playing with if they could also here it (because with the monitoring it became unbearably annoying) they too could hear everything going on in my room. That was a big problem and forced me to resort to another set of headphones after an hour of play. I like these I really do. The battery life is amazing and lasts long even when not plugged in. But that mic made these headphones something I may have to adjust to. Otherwise they seem to be a solid choice in their price point.

Spent hours trying to troubleshoot to no avail. They sounded amazing in store but I could not get them to work for me.

Are you positive that your laptop is equipped with Microsoft's Xbox Wireless? We ask because there are not many laptops on the market with that feature built in, and a majority of customers are in need of an additional adapter known as the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10.

Horrible headset

I knew i should’ve went with a different brand. If i walk 5 feet away from my Xbox it doesn’t stay connected. Horrible brand.

Not worth the wasted time

Returned and picked up another pair and those lasted 2 weeks of use and stopped working. Finally got them to connect and found one headphone isn't working. 1 out of 3 so far are working as intended.

DO NOT PURCHASE - READ THE REVIEW.

I bought mine like 35 days ago.. lol of course the warranty and best buy policy covers defective products for only 30 days. Worked fine for a while but now the charging for this product is completely shot. Charges for like 5-10 seconds then it stops charging. I thought maybe the LED was out but nope, when i turn it on it immediately turns off. Couldn't be more disappointed. Will definitely not be purchasing a turtle beach ever again. I've seen a reddit thread with the same exact problem. Apparently the don't care enough to fix this issue and keep producing the product as is. Do your research. I hope you don't make the same mistake as me and purchase a turtle beach.
