    had to return with in the month because it snapped. the exchange broke with three months DO NOT RECOMMEND! i had to contact turtle beach about this and they sent me a replacement that hasn’t broke so far! it’s been about 4 months!

    Design Flaw

    The plastic piece that slides into the headset holding the earphones, broke on both sides. Lasted less than 6 months. Horrible design flaw, the sliding piece should’ve been made of a more durable plastic or even metal.

    1 star for a quality battery. The rest is garbage. Crackle sounds, in and out reception(4 feet away), thin/brittle plastic, uncomfortable, mic picks up sounds from the other room yet my friends can’t hear what I’m saying half the time. Garbage product. Xbox Series S is garbage too. Blah.

    In order to connect this headset to your pc/laptop you need to purchase an adapter. Even going through the YouTube channels to connect wirelessly to PC it was really difficult I cannot tell you the quality of this particular item because I was not able to connect it to my PC.

    Mic doesn’t work. We’ve worked with Turtle Beach for two weeks to get it fixed. We’ve done everything they have asked and the best we have is a headset the tries to deafen you with a loud tone when you engage the mic. Returning it.

    There is a weak link

    Seemed like a good gaming headset. The connection of the earpiece to the headband proved to be the weak link. It broke after only a few weeks. Handle with kid gloves if you purchase.

    Buy the extended warranty.

    Im glad we purchased the extended warranty....This was a Christmas gift. After the headphones were charged, setup, and connected, they stopped working within the first few minutes. Now, we will have to return them. We will most likely purchase a different brand.

      Press and hold down the Xbox Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.

      This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.

    Horrid Mic Compared to Gen 1

    If you have a hot house and want a fan anywhere in the room avoid this headset. Gen 1 had no issues, I could have a fan on high and it would never be picked up. This mic is so touchy it is unusable if there is a single source of audio in any directions around the user.

    As a gamer for nearly thirty years, I can assure you that in the year 2020, one of the most important aspects in gaming is the audio. As more and more games include online multiplayer abilities and households want to enjoy their media in private, a good headset can do wonders. Out of the box, I noticed how sturdy this is. A real sleek look with a solid shell. The mic is only cordless, which is pro and con, while remaining lightweight. In a few hours of charging, it supposedly provides 15 hours of use, but my results have been a little shy of that. Either way, going from a decade of corded use, to now cordless has been really enjoyable in removing clutter from around my hands as I play. That said... it’s beyond frustrating when you settle in a for a night of gaming only to get the alert that the battery is dying. An additional corded attachment would be really beneficial here. The setup to the Xbox was simple, nothing to really note here but where this thing shines is the audio itself. It’s probably my seventh headset I’ve ever tried and easily the best quality of audio. I hear everything loud and clear, even the finest, smallest sound effects. The biggest downside though, by a landslide is the mic sensitivity. Your friends will hear EVERYTHING and with a hard plastic mic piece, it’s stuck where it’s at, so you have to consciously be really quiet when using it or your friends will get beyond annoyed when they hear every single chew, swallow, and breath you take while gaming. Besides that, the headset comes with two audio mixes. One for the media sound, and the other for a party chat so you can easily adjust what’s most important to hear while playing. There’s also a mute option for yourself by flipping the mic upwards, which is common in a lot of high end headsets but always a treat. In closing, buy this unless you’re a heavy breather, but either way, buckle in for the highest quality audio!

    These headphones are CHEAPLY BUILT. They are WAY TOO TIGHT. I automatically returned the SAME day I could not believe how bad the quality was and the sound was not loud at all. Sounded very shallow. 0/10

    WORST headset

    We went through *3* of these in one week and we are DONE. #1 The mic did not work. #2 Left ear had minimal sound. #3 Powered off (and yes, it was fully charged) and never turned back on. I’m all for troubleshooting but I’ve spent enough time on this.
