Overall Sound Quality is nice especially for wireless. But ended up breaking after 6 months of use. Expected a little more from this brand. Adult user no abuse at all.

Today I am reviewing the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 GEN 2 Wireless Gaming Headsets. I’ve owned quite a few gaming headsets over the last few years, and I always tell people the same thing about them, you get what you pay for. For the most part all headsets will be very similar in terms of sound, performance, features etc, for that price range. $100 headsets will sound very similar to other $100 headsets, where the $200-$300 headsets will sound better, be made with better materials, and have more features. With that being said I think everybody will be extremely happy with these Stealth 600’s at this price point. I’ve done some research and it sounds like Microsoft finally let Turtle Beach use their wireless technology. What I mean by that is these headsets pair to the Xbox exactly like how you would pair a wireless controller. You simply press the pair button on these headsets and then you do the same on the console, that’s it you are connected. In the past “wireless” headsets had to be connected to the Xbox via a HDMI or Fiber Optic cables to a base, where the signal would then be sent to the headsets. That is not the case with these, as stated before all you do is press a pair button and that’s it you’re connected. This next part is going to be very technical but it should help out some people that have questions and are reading my review, these headsets have four audio presets. 1.Signiature Sound 2.Bass Boost 3.Bass+Treble Boost 4.Vocal Boost. Each one improves the sound depending on what kind of game you’re playing. For example I recommend number 3 for shooters as the extra bass makes the gun fire “pop”. Here is the drawback, these headsets have a feature called “Superhuman Hearing” you turn that on by simply pressing The power button (not holding as this will turn off the headsets) but by doing so you will turn off the audio presets. You cannot have them both on, it’s either one or the other, what Superhuman Hearing does is it makes enemies easier to detect, you are able to hear them farther and with more precision, very useful in Battle Royal games. But the drawback is that all other audio will be very bland, Including gunfire from your gun, vehicles etc. Another drawback to these headsets and it seems to be a staple for Turtle Beach headsets, is that they clamp on my head a little too much, making it a little uncomfortable for long gaming sessions. Also even though the sound is fine, they are not super loud and don’t compete with the more expensive headsets. Overall I am very happy with Turtle Beache’s new Stealth 600 headsets. These are also designed to work for the upcoming Xbox series X. +Price +Features +Trully wireless -A little too tight on my head -Sound is not as loud as I would like
