No idea why. So annoyed. I brought it back and got a new one. I used it one time for the sound and the sound quality is great.

Static filled microphone

Immediately my friends could not hear me said I sounded like a robot. I tried again 12 hours later I reset the headset and then I returned it due to the mic pretty much not working.

This one has issues with the mic, the software is terrible. You need a app, it changes the volume by itself you need to log in to adjust. Its not Bluetooth for the game communicates with a USB over Wifi so it cuts out and no one can hear me. Padding isnt comfortable old versions had way better padding. I wouldn't buy for the price returning these today.
