Do Not Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always purchased Turtle Beach and I have enjoyed them very much. I was skeptical of the new transmitter style but bought it anyways. I have had these 3 hours and will return to Best Buy when they open. I charged the headset, after a failed attempt, I got the required firmware update installed to get through setup, played around to set preferences/equalizer. Master volume and game/chat mixer will not adjust on the headset without chat boost enabled in the app, factory reset fixed that temporarily, then no one can hear me in chat even though it registers on screen, turned microphone and mic monitoring all the way up, factory reset again, now master volume and game/chat on the headset only work with superhuman hearing enabled, factory reset again and still intermittent issues again with microphone. Switched over to Stealth 600 Gen 2X, press a button and they work and actually sound better. Gone are the days of a quality wireless Turtle Beach headset I’m afraid.

Falls short of claims

Good quality sound and decent battery life (nowhere near the 80 Hours they claim though). BUT...I get constant disconnect problems, bluetooth mode doesn't work at all, and I have to unplug and replug the dongle into my PC so it will reconnect. I have updated it several times and still have the same problems. Maybe they work better with playstation...but for PC, look elsewhere.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how they look but i play on pc and i hear the footsteps but i hear them on both ears so is hard for me to describe what direction the enemies are coming from it sucks cause i have try everything tonset then up but it dont work for me and is ee the reviews and they all positive am i the only one with this issues.

I purchased the Turtlebeach 600 Stealth headsets for XBox X recently. Even though, it says on the webiste that it’s compatible with Xbox, Playstation, PC, electronic devices… That’s ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. When i attampted to connect to my Xbox X gaming system, it wouldnt connect to it at all. I gave it multiple tries, multiple attempts and was still unsuccessful. I contacted CUSTOMER SERVICE and gave them the serial number of the headsets and guess what they told me. “I'm seeing this is the Playstation version which is unfortunately incompatible with the Xbox.”

Actual garbage

My friends cant hear me, i come in and out and they can barely hear me. And the headset themselves just decide to shut off, then 30 seconds-1 minute after reconnect and they do this every like 5 minutes give or take. After googling this issue it seems its a very common issue. Im returning them tomorrow already. Used them all of 10 minutes.

Just so-so.

If you are changing from corsair, these headphones are not for you. The only setting that you can actually hear an okish sound is default turtle beach setting, anything other than that, you will not enjoy it at all.

DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET IT IS SO BAD

The AI mic reduction just makes the microphone so bad. Its TERRIBLE. The hearing quality is eh. DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET THIS IS SO BAD EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS TERRIBLE. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE THING GOOD ABOUT THIS HEADSET PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS FOR ANYONE OR FOR YOURSELF. SAVE YOURSELF. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING THIS HEADSET.
