First of all guys I did a video on YouTube channel the1chris83. The audio quality is extremely good with the presets super human hearing and the Surroundsound 5.1 Set up is a breeze Pretty comfortable The features all work as they should No issues with connection unlike the green team Perfect price point not too expensive for what you get Video review on my channel the1chris83 YouTube

Initially I was stoked. Construction is Meh but manageable. Connected and booted it up. Boggled by decent bass and a nice voice over letting me know my headset is on and when it changes to another setting. All these things are great. Then realizing that this headset is way to low, I attempted to play with settings and do the recommended update. Nothing works. You’d figure they’d patch this by now. It’s so soft in game volume, I could hear things that were at least 15 feet away in my building without the noise even being loud. Oh, and superhuman hearing? That’s a joke. I get gimmicks, 7.1 being one of them. But when you switch superhuman hearing mode on it takes it to a whole new level of crap. Muddled sad sounds. The pitch is to high for these headsets to handle. At times crackling would emit. Bass and treble sounded Fantastic. But when I can hear things louder then the actual game itself from outside my headset. That itself is a main reason for me to return them. The quality with the fabric ears wasn’t even the sound isolation issue. But I need volume (as shown in the demo) to satisfy my taste for any such headset. Mind you after an hour my ear was uncomfortable in the cups. Not the best, and many issues could easily be solved. I wanted to like them, but don’t.

They seem a good value with good sound and very simple controls (far better then the Sony controls) but they are too small for adults.

    TERRIBLE IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY…

I've been a gamer for most of my life and about 13 years ago I took the jump into gaming headsets and the first set I bought was a turtle beach unit that sounded amazing, but the quality of materials was such that they'd break in 2-3 months max. Back then the Best Buy insurance was true insurance and they would replace the product free of charge for the first 24 months and after that time you had to renew the policy or buy a new unit. And so, I put up with the breakage issues because I could drive a few miles and get a brand new one. Eventually I decided enough was enough and jumped to a Tritton AX 720 headset and it had considerably better sound that sounded digital even though it was analog. The quality was superb but we had kids and my daughter broke it, so I exchanged it for a new one and I had it for 2 years until one of the kids broke that one. At the time Best Buy didn't have any in stock and no one knew Madcatz was about to go under so Best Buy had no answer as to why there wouldn't be any Tritton headsets in stock anywhere outside the highest end unit, so I did a little research and found the Sharkoon headsets and they were the exact same product as the AX 720's only with a different look from a different manufacturer. They sounded every bit as great as the Trittons but the mic was even better, BUT they lasted less than 3 weeks before one of the speakers stopped working. So I go to Best Buy and they didn't have any more sharkoons in stock anywhere so I was SOL on getting a replacement so I called up corporate and after reviewing my history seeing all the issues I had experienced, coupled with the thousands of dollars I've spent with them, the regional manager shipped me a brand new Astro A40 headset and that's what I've been playing with ever since. It's been about 8 years now and they're still going strong. Now my daughter wanted a PS4 so I bought her one but I didn't want to spend $240 on a headset for a 10 year old kid who has a tendency to leave things thrown around, so last night I went to Best Buy and checked out the headsets on display and the TB 200 sounded mighty impressive, so we tried the 600 model and it was fabulous, on par with my A40's, so I bought it. I plugged it up and OMG what a total farce!!! They sound NOTHING like the model on display and sounded more like soda cans joined by a piece of string! Holy geez they are an insult to headsets and my ears are so offended that I should be file to file a lawsuit against Turtle Beach for such a terrible product and the deceptiveness of the display model being so vastly superior to the actual product in the box. I've used cheap $39 headsets that sounded way better than these things. I already wrote Turtle Beach to express my disappointment and discontent after trying these things out. Hoping they reply with some sort of explanation. I tried their Black Ops 3 Wireless headsets several years ago and they sounded magnificent, but lacked power to a great degree so I know they know what quality a gaming headset should meet, so shame on them for this POS. And to all of you who feel these are pretty decent, you guys are either deaf or you don't know quality audio. Apple earbuds sound like studio Headsets compared to these things.

Can’t separate chat volume from game volume

Feel good and sound good, but you can’t separate game volume from chat volume so they are no good for most games. I am trading my 600 for the 700 just because of that reason. After using elite 800 for the last 3 years, I thought all decent headsets would have advanced to that.

This is my 3rd turtle beach. My last one was the 400 which was amazing. This one is a little tighter in which is what I was looking for. However the sound quality is nowhere near as good as the 400. It is quieter and the super human sound is just ok. If you can find the 400. Go with that one. I willbretuen these tomorrow and get the 800. If the sound is not as good I will Amazon the 400 again. If this is your first headset however, you will be good.

Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 Wireless Surround Sound

I given up on turtle beach brand for many years due to lack of "loudness" of the sound and today I decided to give it one last shot (maybe they improved over the years?). Very disappointed. It looks great, feels great, sound "quality" is great. But it just wasn't "loud' enough for me. My beats headphones sound WAY louder than turtle beach headset. Not only that it isn't loud enough, I'm laying down playing game (at least 5-6 feet) from tv to bed, it cuts in and out due to the receiver not reaching the headset!!! Definitely not recommended to anyone and will be returning this ASAP!

    No independent mic adjustment

Very low sound. Mic has no independent adjustment since the usb stick has no optical out put. Turtle beach needs to address that issue go with the 700’s.
