Solid xbox head set

It's great cause it pairs up well with the xbox. It's really easy to setup. Quality is also good in terms of sound and the microphone keeps outside noise down. To me it came in a little softer than I had expected or I would have given it a 5 star. If you can get these on sale, they are worth it.

Loved the sound quality, not the material quality

The sound was always great, loved the setting that amplified the game sound so that it was clear. Didn't realize I needed to connect it to a computer to update it for 2 years. The issue I had was the material quality. Granted it last for a long time, but the adjustments for the headset are so thin that they started to crack and now my right headphone is dangling. Granted 2 and a half years is a long time, but for the price I would appreciate at least 4. Another issue was while sitting in front of my tv playing, the headset would lose connection to my Xbox and shut down while it was still fully charged. Watching a movie that's fine, during a game it was not. I spend all this money for a headset that I couldn't count on 100%.

Purchase the warranty plan. Every year, he breaks a head set and Best Buy allows us to get a credit back toward a new purchase which I upgrade the device each time. These things seem to break regardless and kids are always rough with their toys.
