As a seasoned gamer, I found the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 for Xbox to offer top-notch audio, comfortable earcups, and impressive enhancements like better battery life. However, its build quality lets it down. Despite a premium look, the plastic band and fragile rotating hinges fail to withstand regular use, leading to my own set snapping off, a common issue according to numerous online reports. The newer Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX appears to persist with these flaws. So, while the audio is great, the lack of durability seriously devalues the headset, making it hard for me to recommend. Good performance and sturdy construction should go hand-in-hand in a high-end gaming headset, but sadly, this falls short.

The Turtle Beach 700 headset works very well and is very comfortable during long gameplay. There are a few things I don’t like. It’s hard to find the volume on the head set but other than that they are great. The only other thing is the price. They are very expensive. But you get a full 40 plus hours charg

Great headset with great sound. Also has great battery life. Only complaint with Turtle Beaches in recent years has been the limited volume. The headset isn’t quiet, but I like to feel the game through the headset. Would still buy it again with that minor issue.

Headset is great good sound and comfortable. Love that i can use it on all of my systems and pc. Only conplaint is the range isnt quite as good as i want so if i am on the other side of the room in breaks up a bit.

Love the headset’s cross console and pc compatibility. Sounds great and you can modify your sound in app on your phone. Bluetooth worked fine while in game. No apparent lag. Buttons and controls are programmable. Sometimes does not connect and I have to unplug and re -plug usb dongle. Docked one star due to a cracked post which holds on ear cushion. Hope this 2nd one does not have that defect.

It’s probably the best headset for multi platform and only one at Least wireless, so for that it wins it connects to my phone just fine and probably better than Xbox it does ok on Xbox but isn’t as good as 100$ Microsoft xbox specific one. Does work well for switch and others like I said great for one headset for all maybe best for switch wireless at least, but if we compare to other options for specific headsets for those consoles might not be best also not the most comfortable and does feel a little like it could easily break if you’re not really gentle on them. Hate having to use a pc for updates and phone app isn’t my favorite but makes sense for it being a multi platform headset all in all good not best but probably best for wireless multi platform at least only option I’ve seen, little pricey at 200$ for the stuff that I don’t like it’s a 50/50 headset 50% like 50% I don’t mostly being a one size fits all and not having competition at least out side of other turtle beach and especially if you also want it to work with your phone it’s kinda all ya got. Mostly outweighs the bad but could be better

This headset is by far the best quality Turtle beach has made, 40 hour battery life and can connect to any system with the usb connect. My only complaint is, at least for me, when you turn it on it powers on, says connecting, connects then immediately powers off. Then you have to turn it back on and thats when itll fully connect and be good to go. Not sure if its supposed to do that or if im doing something wrong but its rather minor issue to me since it only takes maybe an extra 10 seconds or so. All in all id still recommend the headset because sound, comfort and mic qualities are fantastic and its ability to block out background sound is incredible. It doesnt pick up fans or ACs in the background or anything besides voices at a fairly close distances.

My husband keeps stealing these. Guess I know what to get him for Father’s Day, huh? Anyways, husband got me an x-box for christmas so I can play with him and the boys, and then I picked these out for my headset. They are comfy to wear, the audio is crisp and clear, and my friends hear me just fine with the mic. FLipping the mic up to mute is really easy, and they hold their charge well. I haven’t run them down yet, but have been pretty diligent about putting them on the charger at least once a week. I’ve also used these a couple of times with my laptop for online lectures and they worked pretty good for that too.

As far as it breaking, its gotta be user error. Im careful with my things. I hang it up after every use. I dont throw my stuff around. Its still in brand new condition are 6 months Im usually the $40 headset guy. Happy with good sound. This was split as a birthday gift and let me tell you... im spoiled. No cord. Battery lasts forever because i plug it in (usb-c). Range from the xbox isnt great (20ft) but the sound quality, the app, the bass, the bluetooth to phone ability... incredibly worth it.

Over all it’s a well rounded gaming headset. Fits good, sounds good, and battery lasts awhile. Would recommend

Battery life is great, but some caveats. The headset is comfortable. Mic position is weird. Voice monitoring is lacking. Connection is also lacking. I sit about 10’ from my Xbox and have the sound cut in and out if I turn my head. Granted, I have always preferred wired headsets and a mic which has more flexibility on its location. These rigid mics end up closer to my eye than my mouth. Turtle each has been my choice of headsets for well over a decade, maybe two. This is certainly not the best one I have owned however. It was the best choice I had in store at the time however which is why I chose this model. I would not buy this particular headset again.

Bought the turtle beach on sale for Black Friday because of the good price. Was coming from stealth 900 and decided to try something new. Headphones sound great and are pretty comfortable. My only gripe is I wish they had a separate chat/game mixer like the stealth headphones. If the game chat is too loud you can only turn it down so low and that’s it without adjusting other settings. Other than that headphones are great. I would still go with the arctic series over these

After using for close to 9 months i will say the sound quality and battery life are excellent. Had an issue with build quality but turtle beach customer service was prompt in the resolution of my issue and they want above and beyond my expectations.

I have been using these for about two weeks. Here is what I’ve learned. They are comfortable and produce good sound. However, they do cut out sometimes and I cannot figure out why.

These are very comfortable and have great sound but had some very bad connection issues where i ended up returning them using the protection plan. I was only about 10ft away from the usb reciever and at random times they would get very spotty connection and the sound would cut in and out. The feature that connects it to your phone via Bluetooth while simultaneouslyconnected to the playstation is phenomenal and more headsets need this. Makes it great when getting a phone call while gaming! But still the connectivity issue is pretty bad and i couldn’t get past it.

Solid headset. A little heavy, but wears nice. Connection to phone and Xbox at same time and has decent audio for call while gaming. Still have to play around with sound settings for best settings.

I’m impressed by how comfortable the headset is and the flip up mic is a feature I love on a headset! The battery life is awesome I can go 2 weeks with out charging and I play a minimum of 4 hours a day! But there there is one con and it’s really just personal preference and that’s that the clamping force is pretty extreme and tends to give me a headache so if you are expecting the headset to just sit on you’re head then I’d adjust my expectations! The sound quality is good and the controls are easily accessible.

Upgraded from an older version however for xbox this one requires the dongle to be inserted for it to function, but has the added ability to connect to everything so its a good trade off. Using bluetooth seems to be a bit buggy when attempting to use for cloud xbox to iPad got alot of cutout and mic not working in party chat. Sound is crisp only complaint is the dials on the side for chat and game volume are not as easy to adjust to get the perfect sync as previous versions have had.

I’m obsessed with my gaming headset! Works well, has some connectivity issues a little. Definitely cannot go far from my console before it disconnects. The headset rest comfortably on my ears and my ears don’t hurt after wearing for long period of time (I wear glasses and that’s my main issue with headsets).

I've had this headset for 9 months. The sound quality is average. There are many other options that sound just as good for a lower price. On top of the price being on the upper end, you'd expect good quality materials. That is not the case, as the cheap plasticy design is very clicky. As you put them on, they crack and click, and if you eat something while wearing them, you'll hear the clicking of the plastic. This is not what I expect from headphones that are supposed to be high quality. Sometimes when i connect them, the sound is messed up. I'd describe it as a higher toned buzzy noise with any sound that comes through. When this happens I must restart the headphones. The only notable features are the lack of cords from using bluetooth and the longevity of the battery life. Otherwise, i wish I could return these. I tried Turtle Beach's warranty site, but the link was broken and their website was not very navigable for warranty help. Sad as an investor of this company. Will be looking at other brands next time.
