Great overall
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoy the sound and the battery life is very long. The mix can be tricky to get used to where it’s positioned and sometimes you have to reset the bluetooth to get the headset to re connect. The only main drawback is sometimes the volume is very high when it turn them back on when i know the scroll wheel for it wasn’t touched when it was off.

Looks and sounds great, Transmitter not great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up so one headset to rule them all. Very cool that it works with PC, Xbox, Switch and PS4/5. And the most amazing part anout the 700 series, you can connect to phone simultaneously via Bluetooth. This allows me to take calls and not disconnect from the game. It simply mutes the mic for the game and turns the in-game volume down to hear the call and use the mic. Once you end call, the mic goes back to game chat and game volume resumes at previous level. Took some troubleshooting to understand how to get it connected to phone. The trick, hold down the Bluetooth button a lot longer than the directions say. The bad is that after testing the range of the 700 Xbox direct connect version and them this 700 Max that uses a USB dongle, it definitely doesnt have the same range. With the Xbox only 700, I could consistently get to my kitchen and my washer/dryer without losing connection. With this version, the Stealth 700 Max, the USB transmitter falls short about 15 feet in both directions. To be clear the transmitter is in the fromt port of the Series X and it is on a rack system at the top with clear line if sight. With the Gen 2 Xbox only version once out of view, it takes longer for signal to degrade and disconnect. So best connection and range is priority over a headset that is compatible across Xbox, Sony and Switch, save $50 and just get the Stealth 700 Gen 2. If you prefer one headset for all then you will sacrifice some range but it still a great sounding headset in the Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max

Great sound & compatibility, but reliability issues
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We stick with Turtle Beach because the sound quality is clear and detailed, you can even hear people walking in another room on video games like rainbow six siege and CS2. It works well across Xbox, PC, tablets, and phones, and the audio fidelity is hard to beat for the price. That said, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. I've had to replace at least three headsets under warranty. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying one unless you have a good warranty plan. Even with the reliability issues, there really isn't a better all-around option right now, so I guess I’ll just deal with it. Pros: Excellent sound quality Works across multiple devices (Xbox, PC, tablet, phone) Good detail and clarity in audio Cons: Poor build quality High likelihood of needing warranty replacement Durability could be much better

Great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good audio quality, mediocre range, not bad you'll only get about a room over before it gets unhearable, also having to remove the adapter from the computer and reinsert before each use is midly annoying, but all and all, good headphones

Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the sound quality is great, there could be a few improvements. One, several times on initial turn on, instead of connecting to the Xbox (Via a dongle, not native Xbox connectivity as the original 700 Stealth) the headphones would shutdown and require a second power on. adn the second item is accessing the microphone when it is in its full upright position can be difficult to bring back down

Decent Devices
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the comfortability (cushion for ears) and the lightness if the headphones. Hasnt left any imprints on my hair/head when i wear them for more than an hour. (That ive noticed) I got the blue orange on a deal: unfortunately had to return it since it seemed what i believe to be defective. The microphone would cut off people would hear a couple things and then just continously cut off and on for about 3-5 mins. Would have to turn on and off multiple times. Turning on the product takes a good minute. Im used to immediate connection similar with the Artics 9x but these just take a while over all. Got the blue and orange replaced with the black ones and it still seems to perform with a mic that just doesnt always communicate and make my voice all choppy over party or game chat. Less then the previous one but does happen every once in a while. It could be because of bluetooth but im no more than 2-4 ft away from my console. The battery seems to last quite a while.

Does not function as advertised on box
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is great for gaming, and the headset is very comfortable to wear. There is low/no latency between the screen and the audio. However, - Instruction manual included says there is a way to make a channel for glasses by removing ear cushions with minimal effort. I tried to do this and the adhesive on the ear cushions began to separate and I was not able to perform the glasses function - Bluetooth range is incredibly poor, about 6 feet. Any obstruction between the bluetooth device and the headset causes the signal to cut, including simply turning your head so that the headset's bluetooth receiver is on the other side of your head from the bluetooth transmitter. - Chat volume wheel does not function properly. - Headset disconnects from bluetooth and or/powers off at random intervals

Headset
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product I’ve used a lot of gaming headsets over the years, but the Xbox Wireless Headset is hands down the best I’ve ever had — and I’m still using it today. From the moment I first put it on, the comfort and build quality stood out. It feels solid without being heavy, and the ear cushions are soft enough for long gaming sessions without any discomfort. The minimalist design is also a big plus — clean, modern, and perfectly matched with the Xbox aesthetic. What really sold me, though, is the sound. The audio is crisp, immersive, and powerful. Whether I’m deep in a campaign, chatting with friends on Xbox Live, or watching a movie, the sound quality is consistently excellent. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and the spatial audio support (like Dolby Atmos) takes everything to the next level. The mic quality is surprisingly good too. I’ve never had teammates complain about unclear voice or background noise, and the auto-mute feature is super handy. The rotating earcup dials for volume and chat/game mix are also genius — super intuitive and convenient. Battery life? Still going strong. A full charge easily gets me through multiple sessions, and it charges up quickly when needed. Even after months of regular use, I haven’t noticed any battery degradation. In short, this headset has outperformed every other one I’ve owned — and I have zero plans to replace it. If you’re on the fence about it, don’t be. The Xbox Wireless Headset is absolutely worth it.

How are these top 10 on almost all audio websites?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An adventure. I wanted to love these headphones. Truthfully even want to give 1 star because the cost and what you get barely is better then my 10 year old sony earbuds! My samsung earbuds are almost as good as these $200 pair! You can play out the box. Not recommended because you have to update to current firmware, WHICH I DID! The update helped and even sounded good on my phone! Guess gaming headphones just are not that loud!? I googled this and this seems to be the largest issue with this pair! Absolutely ridiculous I have to turn every option to 100% just to get an almost just right sound that I'm looking for! My setting are correct! I am telling everyone i did it all correctly because if you don't tell people all what tou did to make it work then they all offer help that you already did! I've seen cumster service pop in here trying to tell the good or bad especially bad reviews to call customer service or update headphones. Games have their own audio options, xbox volume is set to 100%! Even the turtle sound app i connected to headphones and i set to custom! Turned it all to 100%! This still is to low in volume! Basically i settled...at first yes...wow! The immersion, realism, fidelity, all audio words...yes, it felt like i was ingame! DON'T SETTLE! $200! I have every option from game, console, app, all knobs on headphones turned to 100%! Its almost just right but I settled. I shouldn't have! I spent hours yesterfay trying everything! They do sound good but the volume sucks! I know it also depends on your games! I am playing top tier triple A games. Dying light 2 sounds so good! However i feel i shouldn't settle...all sound options are maxed out! What haooened to turning headphones up to 100% and it blows your head off?! Then tou turn volume down to desired level! I know its the new safety features as well! My phone warns me if i turn up any higher it may damage my hearing! So i clicked ok just to get that extra punch! However i did nit spend $200 on gaming headphones to use with my phone! I got samsung buds for that! This is what fated my decision! I never use headphones. Its rare I do! I sampled the sounds and fell in love with the immersion! Anyways why did i decide to return these?! I settled and thought ok this will work! I want it louder but my son loves em. Well I have 10yr old sony wired earbuds...dug em out and plugged em up agter using the turtle beach for hours. My jaw dropped in disbelief that a pair of $10 10yr old sony buds were almost as good as $200 t.b.! My cheap buds have better bass then these t.b.! If I put in numbers with sound and clarity...earbuds sound amazing actually and i was shocked how good these old pair works...so imagine qhen i grabbed my 6 year old Samsung buds and it sounded better then the sony buds!? Yeah not happy! I give my earbuds a 60-70% sound rating with immersion, clarity and feeling like I'm there! Explosions on my buds were 100%! $200 headphones were 70-75% with explosions. Vocal, raining, zombies around the corner, $200 pair was almost %100 in sound! Buds were almost 75-80% and still damned good! Buds sound better with bass and explosions, and slightly %20-25% worse when it came to live sounds that make me feel i am there ingame! So a difference of barely %25-30 better but bass sucks I asked myself if $200 is worth getting the almost %30 better realism, clarity but close enough bass but nit quite there...or do i just use my cheap airbuds and barely sacrifice %25 sound clarity but enjoy slightly better bass? I tried...but no its not worth it!? And yes I used turtle beach sound center app to adjust all volumes and even used the extra bass setting! My earbuds that are 10 years old and even a 5 year old pair gave this month old $200 pair a run fir its money almost! Also my buds are louder then the headphones! I have to turn it down from 100% to 70-85 and its just like I like it! I tried for 2 days to adjust, even talk myself into these $200 headphones! I am not an electronics noob...but I even thought I did settings wrong! Nope...I did it all right and others have a reddit forum on the lpw volume on this unit! Ridiculous is now what I call this! I Spent hours wathcing YouTube guides, even watching dozens of near perfect reviews... now I am like how did these get a perfext review and earn a top 10 spot everywhere!? The reddit forum many people went and got the previous models and or got a entire different headset altogether! I am gonna return these tomorrow and get the 2nd choice which many coincidentally said they got when they weren't happy with these headphones! Also i read to get required volume i should buy an amp! Which I found one for $75 st bestbuy! However why?! For $200 and top 10 ratings I shouldn't have to do anything except enjoy my purchase! I am torn cause I really enjoyed the pleasant realism! Wasn't til i hooked up my cheapie earbuds when my jaw dropped at how close in quality they were to these! These should blow away any $10 pair of earbuds! Volumewise the buds are what I like in volume. For realism and feeling like I was ingame the headphones were %25-35% better and I now feel they should be way better but some people will pay that extra money to get the crisper sounds! I did...til I plugged up my cheapie buds! Also these things squish your head like a pimple. Wore an hour and my ear hurt for 30min! I losened em and my son said I just have to break them in. I settled and figured ok and dealt with it. Then i kept going for the earbuds due to comfort. So all day today I keep switching back and forth between earbuds and these $200 headphones trying to decide to keep or return! I let my entire family try out the differences and all agree with my entire review! They love the ambience or realism, its smooth! But they also can't believe the earbuds are competitive with this headset! Well after contemplating and comparing literally for hours now...I am returning these and am trying another set altogether. I shouldn't have to set 5 things to max-100% to get it just below where i like it! Its not to loud but its like almost at times. Which i can overlook! But again when I tried my old buds and even another 20 year old set..completely forgot about that. I have a pair of almost 20yr old sony headphones 3.5mm jack and i was happy even listening with those! They were to loud and i had to turn it down to 60%! I just can't pay $200 for almost right amount of volume and almost perfect bass when my older cheap sets have better bass! I kept killing zombies and setting vehicle traps cause in dying light 2 when you hit a zombie it makes the best and such a addictive sound, I kept doing it over and over cause it was that good! Also at best buy today the demo of the cheaper set at $149.99 or the turtle beach stealth 700(these are t.b. stealth series 700 max) one extra word and extra $50, the older t.b. stealth 700 series at best buy was way way louder then these! I asked and talled to the rep and they said bottom line if I don't like them to exchange em for the older gen. For price and no reason to be this much given how low volume and barely best cheap old tech I knocked off 2 stars. Being so disappointed and just still shocked how long I spent...in all I really felt 1 star due to disappoint and also cause I am blown away nobody is talking about this in any review and giving these expensive pair a perfect review when they are barely beating $10 5-20 year old cheap headphones! I gave ease of use 1 star. Cause it took me 2 days of tinkering and adjusting and still nit getting the quality I want. I miss plug and play! Also just using my old buds still sound amazing and i don't need an update or app, and I don't need to turn literally 5 different things to max and still not get good volume!

Nice headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a headphone fetish…. I don’t know if I can say that on the Best Buy review but I do. I own a pair of Astro A50 and wanted to give the Turtle Beach Stealth 700s a try because of the Bluetooth feature. Which is important! Very important! I usually make it home an hour earlier than my lady and that’s my hour of game time. But she calls me when she’s on her way home…. Need I say more? So I gave these bad boys a try and the sound quality was great for gaming. There was little difference between my A50s and the 700s. A bonus feature was that it works for my PC and PS4. I ended up returning them because I really didn’t need them except for the ability to be able to game and talk on the phone and I have a headphone fetish. The Astro A50 have an amazing sound and they are comfortable and light.

Really good pair of gaming headsets
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like these headsets, they fit somewhat tight so they don’t fall or move around your head. They have great audio for gaming mainly for games like Warzone or PUBG to detect footsteps really well, the app is simple to use and easy to adjust settings. I like the fact that all buttons are on one side and the battery life is long. The only con I’d say is you can’t keep them on for long I’d say for about 6 hours until you need to take them off for a breather. Get them on a sale which will be worth it.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality is amazing. The fitment is nice and snug. It blocks all outside sound. The sound is on point with no issues. The only con is that most of the time when I first log in using Bluetooth, I get this high pitch sound and am forced to shut it down and restart for it to pair and work as it should.
