Its comfy and feels premium. The wirelessness is nice and functions well. The negatives: the super sound feature only kind of worked compared to Astro a40-a50s and the dial for controlling the game to party chat mixer doesnt work. Max volume can sometimes be not very loud and the headset needs to be turned on and off multiple times to establish a better connection for sound to pass through. I tried to tweak settings and find tricks to make this headset work but its not worth the trouble when other devices can do sound better with better mixing and better audio quality. The only really good thing about this headset is the battery. This battery is king for 40 hours.

Yo, yo, the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX is the real deal, homie. I'm talkin' officially licensed for Xbox, so you know it's top quality. And let me tell you, that battery life is insane - 40+ hours of playtime, no lie. Plus, it's compatible with Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Ain't no lag either, thanks to the low-latency, lossless wireless connection. And when you're done killin' it in your games, you can take calls or listen to your own music with the Bluetooth technology. The Aerofit ear cushions keep you comfy while you game, and the Nanoclear speakers bring your games to life. Trust me, you need the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX in your life.

PS5 and PC, and it's been an outstanding experience. The audio quality is crystal clear, making every game more immersive, especially with the spatial audio support. Comfort is exceptional, thanks to the gel-infused ear cushions and adjustable headband, allowing for prolonged gaming sessions without discomfort. The wireless connectivity is seamless, offering great freedom of movement, and the long battery life is incredibly convenient. The flip-to-mute microphone ensures clear communication. Overall, it's a high-quality, versatile headset that has significantly enhanced my gaming on both platforms.

Purchased and used regularly for nearly 1 year now. I mainly use with my Xbox One S. The sound quality is great, and the individual volume controls are amazing as well. The battery life far exceeded my expectations. My main issues are really with connectivity. More often than not, the headphones will not connect properly with my console, whether it be connected with no audio, or turn on and immediately shut back off with a full battery. This is usually resolved after turn off and turning on the headphones again. Occasionally, the sound will cut out for 2 - 3 seconds as well.

I recently upgraded to the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset, and it has completely transformed my gaming experience. The sound quality is phenomenal, with deep bass and crystal-clear highs that make every game come to life. The wireless connectivity is flawless across all my devices—Xbox, PS5, and even my PC.
The headset is incredibly comfortable, even during marathon gaming sessions, thanks to its plush ear cushions and lightweight design. The built-in microphone provides excellent clarity for voice chats, and I love the flip-to-mute feature. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 40 hours on a single charge.
Overall, the Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX is a must-have for any serious gamer. It offers exceptional performance, comfort, and versatility, making it worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Overall the headset is great quality. It connects with ease to the Xbox. It has great sound and mic functionality. It is compatible to wear over prolonged periods of time.
One consideration is that this is my son’s 5 set over four years. The headset has a few in the extension hinge. It breaks on the dot after about year of use.
We keep buying it because of otherwise great quality. Mic function is without compare. But I’ve been buying insurance on last two purchases just in case and that was worth it.

I consider myself a fan of Turtle Beach and these are definitely one of their best products I've used. Battery has a long life and it's very comfortable to wear. I've used it on PC, Xbox Series X and PS5 and have had no compatibility problems whatsoever. If you're looking to upgrade from wired headsets this is a good choice considering it works with pretty much everything.

Picked up the Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max after returning the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro wireless headset. The Nova Pro had a plastic bump for the ANC inside the earcup that touched my ear and was uncomfortable. No problems with the Stealth 700 as they are super comfortable right out of the box. I basically set them up then played Apex Legends for 4hrs with zero issues. The new wireless dongle besides allowing the headset to be used on multiple devices also gives a much more stable connection than the original Stealth 700:Gen 2 which was a Xbox direct connection device. Battery life is supposedly 40hrs so I haven't had to recharge them yet after 9hrs of playing. In fact they still register as battery level high when I turn the on. The microphone comes across crystal clear which was a problem I also had with the Nova Pro. Headset sounded great but the microphone was only so so. The Stealth 700 sound great and have a great microphone. And that's without me doing any customization to the audio thru the app. I actually haven't even downloaded it yet. The headset defaults at Signature Sound profile which is what I typically use anyhow. It's so perfect put of the box that I personally don't feel the need to change a thing. All of that for almost 50% of what the Nova Pro cost. To me this headset is a no brainer purchase of you own multiple devices.

I tried a bunch of headsets in the $100 to $200 dollar price range and found these suited me best. Make sure to update the firmware which fixes pretty much all the initial problems that were being reported when they first released. The battery life of 40 hours is great and they live up to that number. Sound is very good especially when paired to the app on your mobile device. The 50 mm drivers deliver plenty of volume. The bass sounds good and there are preset sound profiles to choose from or customize. Headset is comfortable after the clamping force eases after a week or so of use. I enjoy being able to listen to music from my phone while still hearing game sounds (for example Forza 7). They work really well with first person shooter games when paired with Dolby Atmos. I can accurately pinpoint where enemies and team mates are located. I see they are starting to go on sale, which would make them an even better value of the money.

Since 2020, when PS5 released, I purchased my first Turtle Beach headset, and have been convinced ever since. This is my third headset, and by far the best. Although it is completely familiar to the original Stealth 700 Gen 2, the MAX version destroys even the original with the battery life, and cross platform capabilities. They take about one battery cycle to break in the ear cusions, but once you do, they are extremely comforatble. Sound is incredible, like being in the middle of the battlefield, or starship, or whatever planet you happen to be on in the game you are playing. Watching movies with these puts you right in there with the characters. The 3D sound and the massive drivers are the engine that makes all of this possible. The construction is sturdy (a little heavy) but high quality. (Donald) "Are they heavy?" (Tim) "Yeah.." (Donald) "Then they're expensive...." -Jurassic Park. Although for the price @ $199, these are the best you can get, these are easily as good as some other $300+ headsets, and also Turtle Beach sticks by their products if you have any issues.

Almost perfect. I tried them all and these by far, cover almost all the bases. Connectivity has been flawless with 0 dropouts. Bluetooth connectivity is a must and it is present here and works well.
My only minor complaint is the need to use the dongle with the xbox as opposed to direct connectivity that was included in last year's model, which was also excellent.
Sound quality is very solid and the connectivity is rock solid. I would argue that the SteeleSeries headphones sound quality is ever so slightly better, but I have been very disappointed in the connectivity, with drops often.
The comfort is excellent and suitable for long gaming sessions. The mic quality is acceptable. The mix controls could be better and are a bit confusing, using the app and physical controls.
It is also a game changer for the night time viewing. They should sell these with my 2022 flagship Samusung TV because they pair nicely together. Watching a late night movie is equally as satisfying as watching the full on surround sound system, and still allows sweet dreams for my wife.
I have been connecting headphones to TVs for almost 20 years and these come closest to a complete experience.
Highly recommended.

I tried these after using the Razer with Hypersense headphones. These are entirely different. I ended up keeping these over the Razer headset. The good: Great battery life. Great sound quality with the eq settings. App works great from the phone. Bluetooth can be used at same time as headset audio. This is a huge plus playing and having your music come through or if you get a call or an important text you will hear it. Microphone is good overall. Small microphone so it does not get in the way at all. I only have one Con for this headset and that is the clamping force. I think they designed this to crush watermelons like the rubber band videos. I have had to put mine over the top of my gaming chair each night to stretch them out and they still are clamping with the force of Thor. They are getting better and I am very happy with the headset overall. The earcups are very comfy and not too hot. The headset is heavy compared to some. I also have a Corsair HS80 for my PC gaming and it is like a feather compared to these.

I really enjoyed these. Comfortable to wear, volume can get ridiculously loud, had great clarity and battery life was great. Only problem is after the 5th time using them, I turned them off, went to plug them in even though they didn't really need to be charged, and then nothing. Light didn't come on to show charging, and then when I went to power them on there was nothing. Tried a hard reset with the buttons and I got nothing. Tried putting them in bootloader mode and restore from the computer and I got nothing. It was disappointing. But I figure I just got a bad one and went back and exchanged them for the black versions since that's what was in stock. If the new ones fail, I'll definitely not be getting them again, but I did enjoy them enough to give them a second chance.

Do to something bad happening, ive basically lost most hearing in my left ear. Tried these out at the store and they were comfortable for my larger skull (7 5/8 fitted cap). I love that i can get sound for my left ear to get me back into gaming. Works with my Series X and PS5 using the dongle. Works with bluetooth for my old Vita, bluetooth on a monitor, my android phone and windows PC. I bought a cheap bluetooth audio dongle for my TV and it works with that. So i get to hear my games, tv, phone calls and listen to music more normal with one device. I tried it on my PS3 and Xbox 360, but couldn't get it to work directly with those systems (using the tv audio dongle instead). Got on sale for black friday at a good price. Sound good and comfortable

Headphones are comfortable, the sound quality is decent. But if I had to nit pick, the sound level doesn’t go up high enough, and you have to unplug the Bluetooth adapter everytime you turn the headset on to make it connect to a pc.

I did not expect what I received when the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX headphones were delivered. I already have last year’s Stealth 600 series headphones and these are a huge step in sound quality to the point I cannot express enough, buy these over the 600s if you cannot afford the 700s.
I chose the Cobalt Blue and with the gold accents, these look amazing in every way and look absolutely amazing Live on stream while sounding better than my 600s 10-fold while either SIM racing or playing FPS games online. The fit and finish of the Stealth 700 series headphones are what you can and should expect from Turtle Beach. The massive 50 mm drivers are kept a perfect distance away from your ears with the comfortable and large "over the ear" pads while allowing for air flow keeping your ears and head cool. The head strap is a true winner as the metal band, in gold, stretches from ear to ear while a piece of plastic runs underneath to help guide the earmuffs smoothly when setting them up for your head. The head strap pad reaches from almost ear to ear making the comfort that much more enjoyable over long periods of use.
For the sound, here comes the massive 50mm drivers with a 20hz minimum to 20khz maximum sound frequency range, making for an absolute amazing sound emersion and experience every time you put them on. For Music listening through your PC, Phone or Xbox, music sounds almost as good as my $650 studio headphones through Bluetooth, only noticing a tad compression on some midrange sounds and bass under 35hz. The studio headphones being wired though will always sound perfect but for a BT connection headphone, Turtle Beach's sound engineers did a top-quality job with how great these sound for a $200 set of headphones.
Compared to my Turtle Beach 600s though, the 700s shine in sound performance via Bluetooth to the point I can say every red cent you have laying under the couch or under your car seat should go into buying the 700 Series headphones. To start, I went to my PC and loaded up my SIM rig settings and the sound while playing SIM Racing games are simply amazing, hearing every rev, every shift and tire noise the way it should when sitting in my SIM rig. Assetto Corsa and Race Room have some of the most amazing sounds in their SIM games and the 700 Gen 2 Max headphones will make you a better driver because how much more detailed the sound is especially when a car is behind you and Dolby is turned on. Then you have FPS games like Warzone or Fornite, my two go to games and besides COD already having bad footstep sounds, these help a ton with the faint footsteps but in Fortnite, the 700s are amazing in every aspect. The sound of the guns firing or even changing mags is much more defined and clearer in the 700s over the 600 series. Watching YouTube or listening to YT Music on my Samsung S21 Ultra, sound is once again amazing and great for when going for a walk or jog, these stay on your head and do not shift around. Next up, the Xbox One X worked perfectly once the adapter was plugged in and the headphones setup. Sound is just as good as the PC, no better, no worse, it is what I expected after trying the PC first.
The microphone is one of my key favorite features of the Turtle Beach headphones like the 700 Max or my 600s, the clarity is great according to my stream but the easy and quick flip up, it is off and a flip down and boom, back on. I know most streamers use devices like pedals or Stream Decks to mute their microphone and many like wired over Bluetooth but I cannot go back to buttons for muting, Turtle Beach has spoiled me rotten with the Microphone the past 2 years. Also, before you wonder or ask yourself, the time delay is nothing when using the included adapter and not the built in Bluetooth, the adapter is much faster and better connection, especially through a USB 3.0 or higher port.
I have to point out the one BIG positive, even though it has a negative, the battery! The 40 hours of time is legit as can be at 75% or lower volume. Before I posted this review, I wanted to truly test the battery instead of worrying about getting my review up before others. I did one full charge and wore them for 3 eight hour shifts of work and 15.1 hours of streaming at 75% volume or lower before they died, and yes, I actually kept track. Now, I only lasted 31.2 hours (2 eight-hour shifts, 2.7 hours of exercise, and 12.5 hours of streaming) total when running them at 100% volume but guess what, my ears loved every second of max volume so the 9-ish hours less means nothing when they sound this good, I do not use them while sleeping. The headphones seem to charge quickly through a 5-watt charger and takes about 3 times the amount through the USB port of the computer.
And lastly, I bring up the packaging. Turtle Beach always kills it with their packaging, everything is always protected and has its place, not one loose piece to break in transit. When you open that lid up and see the most gorgeous set of Cobalt Blue and Gold headphones, that makes Iron Man look outdated, it is a great day and makes the dopamine start pumping.
Great Job Turtle Beach! I hope to continue using your products for years to come, you have never disappointed me with any of your products I have every purchased or reviewed.

The sound quality on these is great. I've been listening to Techmaster PEB and Bass Mekanik (I'm a basshead), and both sound great - they run lows down to 20hz and you can tell it's the headphones are reproducing that low -a 20hz tone doesn't really have much sound so much as feel.
For my head these have a pretty high clamping force, and they were giving me a headache for a day or two until I adjusted. They MUST be broken in. I'm still having to adjust them even now but I think they'll be ok long term, but you do have to give them time.
I've been using the headphones for just over 30 days now as my work headset. Battery life has not been a problem and I've used them for up to 12 hours with constant music, youtube videos, or linked in learning sessions running the whole time.
I love the wireless capability - now I can get up or just push back from my desk without the wires pulling or getting tangled up.
The range on them is OK. I bought a pair of Razer Barracuda X 2022 Edition headphones at the same time (also wireless), and the Razers have better range (probably 20-25% better range) but not quite as good isolation and as a result overall sound is better with the Turtle Beach headset.
These are built better than the Razer, which they ought to be at twice the price.
Having the capability to feed my phone's sound into them at the same time as the computer is nice, though I've made little use of them. I won't use them with the phone as my primary headset since they are what I use for work and stay at my desk.
I do wish they would integrate with Teams, but being able to mute by raising the microphone is really the key feature anyway.
