When I first purchased this headset, I loved it. The ability to connect to Bluetooth and your console simultaneously is fantastic, and the surround sound audio is very cool. All of these awesome features are rendered null in my opinion due to one catastrophic failure: the audio ‘pops’ and goes in and out every second or two. It started about a month after I purchased the headset, and in that time it has not received any physical damage that would possibly cause this kind of issue. The headset is up to date, and I have paired and repaired it with the console and my Bluetooth capable devices. Additionally, according to my friends, the microphone quality has taken a nose dive since this audio issue manifested.

When they worked they were fair. Sound interruptions while in use connection problems with the sound dropping out. Had the headset plugged into my computer to keep charged and updated. Ordered on 29 Sept 2020. Bricked 30 Dec 2020. DO NOT BUY!

      Hey there Wood,

We’re sorry to hear about your experience; however, please try out the following with your Stealth 700 GEN 2:

Press and hold down the Bluetooth Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.

This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.

If you continue to have the same experience after going over the steps provided here; please know that our dedicated Support Team can assist you further with this under your product's warranty (whether it be with further troubleshooting or replacement service), and they can be reached right from the support section of the Turtle Beach website as needed.

      Thanks! TurtleBeach

Good quality headset for sound. Thats about as far as it goes. Very tight on the ears and uncomfortable size. The connection is not the best and is quick to disconnect from console even mid-game.

Thanks for your feedback. We get very few complaints about sizing or comfort issues. Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users. However, we consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers. Please bear in mind that your headset will break in over time, which should result in a better fit after you've used it for a while.

With that being said, please allow our Support Team to assist you with the connectivity inconvenience you encountered. That team is always happy to help, and we can be reached right from the support section of the Turtle Beach website as needed.

Usually Turtle Beach products are good, but was not really happy with this headphone. The rotating part near the head pad broke after a few months and the headset became unusable. Was expecting better quality.

Within 6 months, the battery has died. I havent the slightest what happened. I take extremely good care of my things, great care of my electronics. I don't slam my things in anger, or frustration. Never did I throw or slam this headset. It just completely died on it's own. Turtlebeach's warranty standards appear to only cover 90 days. I have sent them an email and will update accordingly, but in my honest opinion, I would avoid Turtle Beach products, because this isn't the first headset I've ran into issues with.

I hate to write a 1 star review, but this headset was pretty bad. Thankfully BestBuy allowed me to exchange it for a pair of Astro A20s. I wanted to like this headset but game chat wouldn’t work on the Xbox series X. It kept going in and out and my friends couldn’t hear me. I had the latest firmware installed and everything and it was just really bad. Another weird thing was there was like black paint on the ear cups and playing for an extended period of time the black ear cups left what looked like black sharpie marks on my ears. I’m using the Astro a20s now and the turtle beaches do feel better, they don’t perform NEARLY as well.

My husband is an avid Turtle Beach fan and gamer. With that being said, I purchased this headset as a surprise for him. He loved it. However, after normal use and taking appropriate care of it, the headset made an unusual sound. Thinking it died, my husband plugged it into the charger but noticed it would not charge. The headset has not worked since it made the unusual sound and turned off. My husband has only had this headset for 16 days (1 day past Best Buy’s 15 day return policy). With the headset being Turtle Beach, my husband and I expected it to last longer than 16 days. My husband and I are very disappointed and are now without a headset.

As another review here has noted, the product just quit working and will not turn on. When I plug it into my laptop, the laptop picks it up as a device but that is it. I used this product everyday as a Bluetooth hands free option for virtual meetings and then on Monday morning, dead after just less than 3 months of usage. Would never recommend this product as it feels cheap and it just quit. Treated this device like it costs $1000’s and it just died with no warning or error codes.

Don’t buy these they are terrible. Community is full of people struggling to have their turtle beach not cutting out in online matches, gaming audio stop working, Bluetooth and WiFi seem to cause interference. I’m already on my second set and they still fail each day at least once. These are terrible for Warzone. I have Mine fully updated and they still stink. Get a cheap $10 that will save you loads of time, hassle and money. The customer service for Turtle beach is a joke full of Auto reply via computer and will tell you it’s all your fault over. I have only had them for several months and I have had to reconnect and disconnect my headphones every time I use them atleast 10 times to get them to work for 10 minutes before they either disconnect or makes the sound come out fuzzy and my Mic come out cracky. The absolute worst headphones do not buy!!!

BUYERS BEWARE. This is a great headset.. for however long you can use it without coming across audio issues do to the old software. I know. Update it. After the headset is updated to its newest software, the quality became WORSE. I’m lucky to hear a conversation in a rpg, let alone try to have a steady Audio connection during cod sessions. If you have 150 for this headset.. put it elsewhere. Save yourself the headache with waiting days to deal with turtle beach’s horrendous customer support (which hasn’t been resolved as of today) and overall just wasting your money.

Will be returning these headphones the first chance I get. Complete trash. Cuts off intermittently, reconnects. Repeat. Never had a full satisfying 10 minutes with these. Was hesitant at first since the last gen stealth headphones were trash too. I want to like them just for the fact they're comfortable with glasses. Then I read in a reddit forum that the bluetooth signal is being interfered with your bluetooth controller because they send the same signal to my series x. If this is true, this was completely a waste of time making these headsets.

I was very excited to get my hands on the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 G2 headset for a gaming session on my Xbox One X. While it looks, feels, and sounds great, a connection issue is troubling. The design of this headset is awesome. It's very well designed and the quality feels superb. The padding on the head band and over the ear cups are soft and comfortable. I love the integrated microphone boom. When you want to use it, simply flip it down and the microphone activates. When you flip the boom back into the headset, it deactivates. It is so much nicer than traditional boom attachments. Syncing the headset to the Xbox was simple as pressing the sync buttons on both the headset and the Xbox as if you're trying to pair a wireless controller. You can also pair your phone to it while it is also connected to your Xbox. With the Turtle Beach iOS app, you can easily access various settings such as equalizers, mic volume, etc. After about five minutes of use, I began to have negative feelings toward this headset because of constant sound drops. Every 30 seconds or so, it seems like sound drops for a split second or so and it becomes very distracting, especially when listening to Spotify on Xbox in the background (which I almost always do when gaming). I downloaded the Turtle Beach iOS app and then the Windows app. After checking for any firmware updates, I decided to double check that my Xbox was up-to-date and then even going as far as making sure my wireless Xbox controller firmware was updated (for possible interference or whatever). Somewhere along the lines, I'm thinking with updating my Xbox controller firmware, the sound drops seems to be less frequent, but still noticeable. Until this is fixed, I cannot honestly recommend this over my older Turtle Beach Stealth 500X. I'm hoping the connection issue is resolved with either a firmware update or maybe even when I get my hands on the new Xbox Series X console (which I pre-ordered and am highly anticipating).
