    I've been using another makers headset for sometime now and have been generally happy. I figured as I'm getting the new xbox I'll grab these. Now when they work these things sound fantastic. They are a little tight with the clamping force bit they let up after a couple of days. I don't get sweaty ears at all with these or fatigue. They are a really nice headset apart from the fact they don't always work. As I sit here typing this with my headset on while the Warzone menu music plays the sound crackles, pops and cuts in and out. It does this far more often than not. I think I've only managed one game with this headset with no sound issues. I went to the website hoping for a firmware update but nothing, these are up to date. And for context, I'm sat about 2 feet away from my One X If these didn't have the issues they do it would be a definite 5 star but seeing as the audio is pretty important I'm going for 2 stars as when they work they are excellent. Such a shame but not worth the risk

    Has potential but rough out the box

    I received my Stealth 700 in the mail as I ordered it from Turtle Beach specifically. I am upgrading from Gen 1 Stealth 600. As the 600s have been stable for me, I had my issues with it but was a solid headset overall. But I feel the Gen 2 Stealth 700 has potential but is still missing the mark. So I have had the headset for a week now, and I will start with the headsets' positives. People are saying that the headset is tight, and I do not think it is. After the box, they are tight, but as you continue to wear them, it breaks in and loosens up, which is a none issue. Headsets are a little on the bulkier side but are much more comfortable than the Gen 1 Stealth 600. The audio quality has been awe-inspiring, and I think the audio is top tier. I had with the 600 that I have with the 700 as the SuperHuman hearing continues to be inconsistent. You get that elevated sound, but it is overpowering and continues to have those crackles and pops where it makes the SuperHuman hearing almost impossible to use. Yes, you can adjust the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app volume but does not make a difference when changing. Like most people, I have struggled to connect to the app via Bluetooth if Turtle Beach continues to support the software and headset, which they did not do much with the Stealth 600. The biggest issue that prevents this headset from being a must-buy is the connection. I do not know if it is an Xbox problem or merely a Turtle Beach problem. I'm leaning more to a Turtle Beach problem where the headset will disconnect randomly and then reconnect. When I am in a party with friends, I do get a crackling and pop sound, and the audio becomes faint and disconnects as well. This is making the headset not even worth the price because if it is continually going to disconnect. I want to love the headset, but I will return the headsets this week since Turtle Beach only offers a 14-day return policy. I rather send it back and get another headset instead of running the risk and not knowing if they will continue to support the headset. Maybe in the coming months, this headset will be worth it but right now, if so many inconsistencies, I cannot recommend the headset at this time and point. Turtle Beach, please put out a steady product and continue to support it with updates; this is a winner. Hopefully, they fix the issues, and I will come back to a TB headset.

    The reviews that say that they are tight are not kidding. They are borderline too tight for me, but I'm hoping with a bit of wear over the next few weeks they will stretch out just a bit. The sound quality is good, far superior to my old wired headset. Battery life to far is great. All of the controls being on the left ear piece is cumbersome at best. This and the tight fit are the reasons for the downgrade from 5 stars.

      Press and hold down the Bluetooth Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.

      This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.
