They are super comfortable and the sound quality is great. I will say the one thing I miss from my Stealth 400s is the ability to control the game audio separately from the chat audio directly from the headset. Honestly, this could be attributed with the PS5 settings, along with the headset button reconfiguration. Overall, great headphones!

Great Headset with a few Negatives

The EQ is also very nice for adjusting on the fly via your smart phone. The issues I had were I did a custom EQ and it wouldn't save, I had to reset it every time I played via smartphone and on COD I could hear footsteps clearly like from left or right or behind but it was not always clear exactly where it was coming from, it would be behind me but couldn't tell if it was to the left or right behind me. For a single player game though these would be fantastic.

It’s dual connection mode (bluetooth and 2.4Ghz USB Dongle) makes it one of a kind, I can simultaneously connect my PS5 and the Discord app on my phone flawlessly. Battery life is superb, I can go 3-4 days of gaming (about 3 hours each time) without needing a re-charge.

Awesome quality, though my brother said I sounded like I sucked helium one night over the headset while playing Warzone. Not sure about the glasses friendly part though. Gets warm pretty fast so good for winter lol. The reason for 4 stars is because this is my second headset. The first headset was a dud. Worked perfectly right the night I got it, a day or two later it wouldn’t work. Wasn’t dead, wouldn’t charge, wouldn’t come on or respond to anything. Second one works perfectly.

Posted .We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Please try out the following with your Stealth 700 GEN 2 if you encounter what you described with your new headset:
Press and hold down the Bluetooth Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.
This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.

Ran to best buy and found these Stealth 700 Gen 2 wireless and decided to go with it. First time using bluetooth wireless gaming headsets so I was anxious to see its performance, and was not disappointed. The glasses friendly design is useful and the cooling gel is comfortable on the ears even after hours of gaming. The flip mic with auto-mute is nice too. Pricey headsets so I hope they last for a long time!

Nice having the option to update firmware. Not sure if it is a PS5 issue or Turtle Beach issue but I don't much care for the fact that no sound will come from my TV if the dongle is plugged in. Sometimes I don't want to put my headset on and shouldn't have to unplug the dongle to hear sound from my TV speakers. One other negative is the microphone is in an awkward position and doesn't have much range of motion. Otherwise sound is excellent and very comfortable.

On the PS5, you do not need to remove the USB transmitter in order to output sound to your TV.
You can change the Audio Output device on your PS5 console via the Quick Access menu that can be accessed by quickly pressing the PS button on your PS5 controller. From there, navigate to the speaker icon and select it. From there, you should see a menu that will allow you to change your output device from your Turtle Beach headset to your PS5's HDMI output. This would allow you to change outputs without unplugging anything.

Glad it has Bluetooth, wish it worked for my series x too but I have a different headset for that. I use these 60/40 PC/PS4. But my PS% is on the way so it may be 50?50 by next week. The app is amazing to use to help with sound management. But you really don't need it because you can control everything from the headset
