Distinguishing direction of movement in games like COD is not a problem at all with this item. Speaker works perfectly and easily stores away out of your visual field when not needed. Best gamimg headset I have owned to date.

First of all, it took an extra 10 days or so to ship and get to me, which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. What was a deal breaker though was the garbage mic and audio range. If I was more than 5 feet away from the receiver/dongle, the mic would cut out. If I leaned back in my chair... the mic cut out. If I am going to have to sit 5ft from my console, then I might as well use a wired headset! What’s the point in paying for something at this price point when you can’t even sit back in your chair? I used to love TB headsets. I think this is the last higher end one I will purchase. And I’ve already returned it. I’ll possibly continue to buy for my kid, but not anything at this price point or higher.

Dollar what?

Heck no, this is a turtle beach baby. They still say I sound like shiiate but that’s okay, they don’t really need to hear me.

Too many internal issues despite looks and sound

Had issues with updating software for PS5 out of the box, had to use two different laptops. Waited a week after and they worked fine, then all of a sudden didn’t want to turn on or react to anything EVEN WITH hard reset. Don’t let the features pull you in, I got pulled in with one that makes an indent for glasses on the cups, but it felt better without it. Stay. Away. Trust. Me.

Eh Cheap Material For The Price

Other than that it would’ve been a 5 stars.

Static in playstation5 menu

When you exit the menu and go into a game they sounded great. I read on forums that others have the same complaint and folks think it will be resolved in a future software update. For me, 150 dollar headset should not have this issue so with that being said I returned them. The manufacturer should never release a product like this until they test it thoroughly and fix issues like this. I read it was the same on Xbox X as well.

Lasted 2 weeks, will not turn on

I read through reviews after this happened to me and found out this is a common trend. Luckily it was 2 weeks into owning it, not just after the 1 year warranty expired like some others have experienced. Sound when it worked with the ps5 was pretty good. Cannot adjust chat volume on headset*** had to mess around with game chat preferences in the actual game menus to hold a conversation when a lot of noise was coming through the headset. Cushions were nice with the cooling gel. Returning this item and will go with another brand after this experience

We’re sorry to hear about your experience; however, please try out the following with your Stealth 700 GEN 2:
Press and hold down the Bluetooth Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.
This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.
If you continue to have the same experience after going over the steps provided here; please know that our dedicated Support Team can assist you further with this under your product's warranty, and they can be reached right from the support section of the Turtle Beach website as needed.

EXCEPT no party/game chat mixer despite having an extra programmable volume wheel. Very disappointing. This is my second pair as my first ones decided they didn’t want to turn on one day. This was two weeks after the initial purchase. Returned them, got a new pair and the Bluetooth won’t connect to my iPhone. This is very important seeing as I purchased them so I could use discord on my phone for party chat while gaming. Returning them and purchasing Arctic 7’s or Arctic pros. Huge disappointment from turtle beach on this one.

Turtle Beach

Although I have a pair for the Xbox and they are amazing. So with that being said I would definitely look into getting a pair.

No aux port. Bluetooth issues

It is metal and stays in place when set to desired position. The earpiece fit very snug. Almost to tight but make for good audio. Works great on my ps4 and Xbox. Why 2 stars then? It has NO auxiliary port. So I'm forced to use only bluetooth for everything. When not playing games I'll use the Turtle Beach headphones I've bought in the past for music or even phone calls. I've been unable to get this headset to connect to my phone for this use. Once paired, it tells me "you need an app for this decice". I have the Turtle Beach Audio hub app and yes, it connects to it, but not my phone for audio or anything else. Will most likely be returning.

Bluetooth works but can’t turn it up and game down

I wrote a review right after I purchased these and I thought the Bluetooth worked well. They work but nowhere near the same as the gen 1 headset did. There is no way to truly separate the game and Bluetooth sound on these. I can’t turn the game volume down and turn the music on my phone up on these like I could on my gen 1 headset. I had the Turtle Beach people contact me and try to walk me through some things but it made zero difference. If you want to hear the game and just the game, then these will do. I am using these on a PS4 Pro as I can’t get a PS5 now.
