    I have always found Turtle Beach products to be outstanding – instead, this unit stands out as being an epic fail. It is unfortunate as the sound (when it works) is great and has great spatial and directional effects. The sound is well balanced for music, video and games. The ear cups have a good feel and stay cool and work good with glasses but it is simply too tight. Try as I might to adjust the feel and tension of the headset, it still ends up pressing way too much, making it painful to wear after a short while. The headset has Bluetooth connectivity and will work with your phone and game console at the same time. It has prepared dongle to connect to the PS4 and is rated to work on the PS5. One big problem is that the sound is inconsistent from platform to platform. The notification tones and voice are loud by default, which isn’t a good thing. Managing the buttons which are allocated on one side is daunting. The two dials (chat mixer and volume dial) are extremely sensitive, making it hard to get to the sweet spot. The dials have a cheap, clunky feel to them. They are right next to one another, making it easy to get them mixed up. Battery life should go about 20 hrs but I couldn’t test this because of the inability to wear these for long periods of time and sound/connectivity issues. Using the app to customize the headset is easy to do. Plugging in the dongle to the PS4 and getting it to pair seems to be a challenge. I had to do it 4 times before I could get sound from my PS4. Turning the Playstation off with the dongle plugged in would cause it to fail pairing almost every time when you turned it back on. During gameplay, the sound would occasionally fail for no apparent reason – stuttering in and out. When talking to my partner the sound of my voice would change volume or disappear just out of the blue. This is not what I expect from a product from Turtle Beach – especially a Gen 2 product.

    I cannot wait to use this headset on my PS5 on 11/12! It works great on my PS4. I wear Google Prototype Scopes and I love that these are glasses friendly. The 20-hour battery life is awesome. Play for multiple days before you need to recharge. Overall a great solid wireless gaming headset. My favorite feature is the cooling ear cups. My ears typically get really warm with over the ear headsets but not with these. Very comfortable to wear over long amounts of time.

    Turtle Beach has a winner with this one. They have a great sound and features you would expect in a much more expensive set. And they are comfortable and pair great with more than on piece of tech at a time

    Although the build quality is better, the sound quality v. the gen 1 stealth 700 is not as great. I just received these today from preordering them off the turtle beach website and I'm disappointed. Gen 1 offered two dials, one for game volume, one for chat volume. This only has game volume. The second dial is for a mappable option for superhuman hearing volume, mic monitoring and Bluetooth volume. The earcups are comfy, and it has a 20 hour battery life, but the PS4 version seems like the prototype and the xbox version seems like the final product. Overall I would rather buy a new pair of Stealth 700 Gen 1's than keep this product.

    Let me start off by saying these are wonderful headphones they are very comfortable. The sound across-the-board is very good. But I have to say the first pair i took back to Best Buy for the simple fact it had mic issues. I got the 2nd pair and they worked wonderful the 1st day now the 2nd day the mic had issues again. The mic keeps going in-and-out one minute my team will be able to hear me in a warzone the next they won't hear me at all Happens almost every game. This is why im giving it a 1 star and ill be returning these ones two.

    Won’t connect with IOS

    Great Headset, great sound, it’s connects with any Bluetooth device except with IOS, thinking about returning it, if anybody knows how to get this thing work with iPhone please let me know.

    I bought this and it does not easily pair. I'm currently sitting 3 feet and it is constantly breaking up. Turtle Beach says it takes 3-4 days for a service request.

    These are not any good at all . I bought 3 of these at best buy . Every one of them had the same problem . Blue tooth will not connect , the last one I hooked up directly to computer to turtle beach website for latest up date and still nothing. I have a series x and a ps5 ,I wound up getting the stealth 700 149.99 version w / Bluetooth an they both work perfectly .stay away from the 700 max and get the regular 700 s . Will be much happier.

    I really like the heads set but it has one major issue the connectivity to the PS5 is terrible. Ramdom disconnects and every time you power up the head set and ps5 you have to hope it connects more often than not you have to turn it off and on several times making it basically unusable.if is turtle beach is able to figure this out with a firmware update is a very good unit,until then is trash.

    Do not buy if you have a xbox series x/s bought these in March of this year and have had nothing but problems with the staying connected. Done all lthe trouble shooting turtle beach told me to do and still no good will not be buying these again.

    Should be zero stars. Absolutely one of the worst companies for customer support. Product is garbage some break in a few days and others in a few months. My older set that sounded better with better options lasted years trouble free. Find a better company with a better product.

    Don’t buy the turtle beach stealth 700 Second gen

    Got these on the 18th and was working just fine then all of the Sudden they just turned off and stopped working the battery was full and they will not power back on I will be returning these back to Best Buy and I’ll never buy turtle beaches again worst headset I’ve ever had also try to reach out to Customer support and haven’t heard anything back

      We’re sorry to hear about your experience; however, please try out the following with your Stealth 700 GEN 2:

      Press and hold down the Bluetooth Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.

      This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.

      If you continue to have the same experience after going over the steps provided here; please know that our dedicated Support Team can assist you further with this under your product's warranty, and they can be reached right from the support section of the Turtle Beach website as needed. While they were off for the extended holiday weekend, they are back to answering claims as of this morning so please remain patient if you have already reached out to them.

    Just smashed the crap out of my headset. Tired of turning on/off umplugging usb wireless and plugging back in multiple times trying to get this headset to turn on. Now looking for something that might turn on whem inadk it to.

    Ive had it for about 14 months and j already had to send jt back for the warrenry because it just disconnects every 10-20 mins and the new ine they sent me doese the dame thing and alot of lag in the sound

    These are the worst headset I I have ever owned. They cut in and out, you have to walk up to the PlayStation to get them to connect, and they crackle constantly. I expected way better quality for the price of these.
