Good but.....
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound. Really good mic, almost too good as it picks up everything. Battery life is really good. Fairly comfortable. The range isn't great, especially when syncing it. No separate controls for chat vs game sounds. Pricey.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable and cooling. As a glasses wearer these are the best headsets ive ever used and ive used the sony pulse 3d Headset. I use these on the Ps5,Switch and sometimes on the Xbox. Fully universal all your system needs to be used is a usb port. One great feature not mentioned in the box is you can listen to your phone and the ps5 at the same time. For example lets say you are watching a youtube video. You dont have to take off the headset to listen to the video because it will play on the headset over the game audio.

INCREDIBLE!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic headset. Its the complete package. Great sound, INCREDIBLE bass, mic monitoring (rare feature these days), and Bluetooth. Well worth the $150 price tag. HIGHLY recommend these.

Ramble
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good quality headset overall, though I have experienced several issues which is why I have given it 4 stars. When it works, it works well, but when it has issues, it is frustrating. Issue #1: Bluetooth connectivity with the phone app can be difficult to maintain. I have tested with both iOS and Android. The bluetooth connectivity will intermittently be lost and then it becomes challenging to reconnect without running through troubleshooting steps to repair. I usually lose the bluetooth connection through the app when my PlayStation is on. Issue #2: I have experienced an issue where sometimes my headset will not immediately pair with the dongle connected to the PlayStation. This issue is frustrating when the expectation is that the headset will immediately detect the dongle when the device is powered on. Instead, I am in a scenario where I have to remove the dongle, and then re-set the dongle in place several times before the headset detects it.

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Meh. It has great audio when you finally get it to pair with your PS4. I’m literally sitting 5 ft from my ps and it doesn’t want to connect 1/2 the time. You have to pull the usb dongle out and put it back in to reset it. It’sa pain to do that but otherwise a good headset

Please don’t buy this headset.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this headset for over a year now. Can confidently say don’t buy this headset. The Bluetooth doesn’t work. It say it’s connected and not connected on repeat till I turn the Bluetooth off. My phone Bluetooth works on every device in my house besides this headset. I’ve gotten Bluetooth to work maybe 2 times by some miracle. The sound is okay NOT great for footsteps. The headset should be louder but it isn’t. The turtle beach app you use on the phone for this really makes it like the headset does more but it’s just underwhelming because you can’t make the headset any louder. Super human hearing is unusable sounds it’s like a weird echo and nothing sounds natural with it on. The only pro I have is that it’s comfortable on my head.

Good but
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is very good if you need dual audio. However I’ve gone through two of them and the same issue keeps happening, the plastic that connects the ear cup to the headset band always breaks in the exact same spot.

TURTLE BEACH ALL THE WAY!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow!! I believe that is the best description of its build and sound capability. I have owned turtle beach headsets in the past, and currently own the PlayStation $100 headset along with Steeleseries Arctic 1 wireless and this blows them out of the water. They come preset with awesome setting with deep base and crisp highs, but after you jump on the app and make your personal tweaks it gets even better. It does have the “super human hearing” preset as well, but personally I am not a fan. But you can adjust that as well within the app. For the price, I feel that it performs well beyond $150.

Good sound...when they work.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound is good, when they actually work as intended. I've had these since last year for my PS5, and I've had a lot of problems. Disconnecting randomly, not connecting to the dongle at all, having to turn them off, then back on again to try and connect. Sometimes it takes 2-3 times of turning them off and on to connect. I also have some issues adjusting the sound during chats and in-game, even through the app. I keep the firmware updated as well, so not quite sure why I have a lot of issues. My buddy also bought these for his PS5, and has the same problems, so there has to be something going on between the PS5 software and these.

These are tight - in the good way and bad.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was nice to cut the cord on my head set. The cups fit nicely around the ears and the band doesn't slide down the back of my head like my old ones. Separate volume controls for game/chat sound and real time monitoring. I don't use the real time as much or real low. That's just a personal setting, though. To turn off the head set so the TV can provide the sound you can either unplug the dongle in your PS4 or go into Device controls and switch it over. Bit of a pain but, once you get used to it it only takes a second. That being said, the reason the band doesn't slide is because they're a bit tight around the high neck area. After a bit of time I can hear my heartbeat through the headset.

A great Buy after much research
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this headset. I used to buy the cheap ones that plugged into my controller. I wanted to go wireless. I got two different pairs to try each one out. I got the steel artics 7 and the Turtle beach stealth 700 GEN 2. After using both, I brought back the artics and kept the Turtle beach. The app works great to make adjustments to my gaming sound and when I get a phone call, I can take the call hands free. I still hear my game, but my teammates do not hear me on the phone. I can even walk around the house and go into my garage while it is connected. Totally worth the money!

Bang for your Buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are an above average pair of gaming headphones, clarity and treble is fine, bass packs a punch but could use some tweaks in the EQ which is helpful. I returned the Arctic 7P because those were simply overhyped garbage.

Price doesn't match the quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally wanted to get a quality wireless headset and was willing to move into the $150 range to get it. I spent a while researching and landed on these since I always heard good things about Turtle Beach. At first they seemed OK but the cans are so shallow my ears were pushed up against the inner speaker which started hurting after an hour. I found myself constantly adjusting them or taking them off playing Warzone because of the discomfort. I live in a small apartment and when I play late at night other people are sleeping. While the mic is slick (I thought the half position mute was cool), you can't adjust the boom closer to your face which made it hard for me to talk quietly during this time. Yes, you can then adjust the mic level, but it takes time to get it just right which is a pain to go back and forth daily. The materials felt a bit cheap as well although I can say nothing broke during the short time I owned them. On the positive side, the sound quality was pretty amazing. The gel pads do a great job of isolating your ears and blocking out the background. If you compare mics on SoundGuys, you realize how good this mic really is. It keeps the low end so your voice doesn't come out tingy if that matters to you. The battery life is also great. To summarize, I just didn't feel like I was wearing a $150 headset. They had pros and cons but if I am spending this amount I shouldn't want to take them off after an hour. You spend that money to push into the "next tier" and I just don't think you get that with these. I thought I was crazy so I went to Best Buy to try on other headsets and most of them felt cheap except for the SteelSeries and the Razers. I spent over another week researching headsets and everywhere including Reddit is 50/50 on every set ever made lol. I talked to a friend who recently purchased the Razer Blackshark v2 Pros and when I tried them out I was 100% sold. They were out of my price range at $180 but who am I kidding, I was already spending $150 on a gaming headset lol. You are going to be wearing them all the time so the extra $30 on top was worth it. The Razer Blackshark v2 Pro is exactly the kind of headset you expect for the money. They are comfortable to wear all day, sound phenomenal, have a quality adjustable mic, and are constructed from solid materials. I returned the Turtle Beaches the next day.

Good quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality and battery life. Been using them for about a month and the only small gripe I have with them is if being used with ps4, you have to unplug the receiver to switch back to TV output instead of detecting when they are on.

Surprisingly Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m glad there’s not a mute button that I have to feel around for, instead I can just flip the mic up and I’m instantly muted. It’s also great that it has Bluetooth and I’m able to connect it to my laptop and phone. The steel band is definite plus due to me having a big head. My game mates tell me I sound different because they never heard my voice so clear, so that’s another plus! I had to buy another headset I was interested to see which one was better though, but turtle beach had Bluetooth. All in all I’m happy with my purchase.

Good but not a great value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones sound pretty good. The driver size is big, the sound space is pretty good, including the 3D audio mode. It has many features, so if you are looking for a very well featured headset, this is a good one to get. However, at the MSRP price tag, there's a number of issues with this headset. For lower price, you can get much better audio quality out of something like Audio Technica AD900s. The mic isn't great, but it's one of the better ones out of all of the gaming headsets I've tested. The biggest con, for me at least, is the comfort. If you have a large head, I'm not sure that you'd be able to play and wear these for more than a couple of hours. Something to consdier.
