Gen 2 sounds better, is easier to operate have fuether range and are more comfortable. Also, the mic monitoring is terrible compared to the gen 2s it sounds robotic instead of natural. Overall, it's still a decent headset, but if you are thinking of upgrading, I wouldn't.

I experience drop outs. Poor audio quality mic quality isn’t great and phone connection to manage settings is a pain.
