A really great headset for the price. It has the 50mm speakers and the sonic surround sound (helps with FPS) so you can hear the direction of sounds in the games. Chat is very clear and the adjustable mic makes it easy to still function while wearing

If you are getting these specifically to use with an Xbox One, I start with this warning. For those who don't know it, the Xbox wireless controller does NOT have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It has a very specific connector that you actually have to buy an expensive adapter to use any wired headphones. You can buy controllers made by other companies for the Xbox One that DO have the 3.5 mm jack built in to those. But you will have to either have an off-brand controller or an adapter for the jack. With that being said, for the price, this headset has very good stereo sound and very comfortable cushioning for both the ears and across the head. Just wish I had known that I can't use these on my Xbox One without having to buy something extra. Can be used in the PS4 controllers, as they have the 3.5mm jack built in. Also can be used on any device that has that jack (phones, tablets, etc.).

I usually game solo, so the cheapest XBOX headset had been my go to headset. Best Buy had this half price during a Deal of the Day and I took the chance. What a difference it makes. This is surround and not stereo. It will take advantage of the XBOX ONE DYNAMIC sound option. The headset is adjustable, so take the time to make it fit as comfortable as possible. One word of caution. Both plugs on the wire to the controller and the wire to the mic MUST snap tightly into place or you will not have sound or mic. If they do not snap you may need either a new controller or a new headset. Once again my recommendation is price based. I have no idea if a headset that retails for more will give you better sound and/or a more comfortable fit.

I prefer wireless headsets, but the $40. price tag on sale couldn't be over looked. Ear cups are comfortable, and the sound is very good once you find the proper settings within the Xbox One X. The wire is easy to forget at this price point.

Great headphones for gaming, comfortable to wear with great sound

A great step above the entry level Turtle Beach headphones. I love that Best Buy can get this black Friday deal going on these headphones. It made such a great gift to my niece. She loves them. She says they sound great and they look fabulous. That is such a big deal considering she is a teenager with a big social and social media life.

These headphones are great for when don't want to make to much noise with you're tv being up or to loud, with out taking away from all the gaming experience and surround sound of the game. I also love that you can un plug the Mic out of the head phones and just use them as headphones with you're phone or tablet it's not just a gamer headset.
