Don’t waste your time

My tv looks like my dog could have done a better job then this crew. I have two other TV that been calibrate and the pictures looks outstanding and clear, But this time it was not worth 250.00 dollars. I did not get what I paid for because my Sony oled picture suppose to a better picture then how the f crew did,

Changes in picture quality are worth the cost

Learning how calibration works and seeing the results was an eye opening experience. It's great to know I'm getting optimum picture performance from my new HDTV.

best picture

( I knew what to expect because we had them do this before on our other tv. It Is a lot of money for the service, but the picture is unbelievable the difference in the factory and the tv after calibration.

Geek squad no call no show or email.

Finally got through and then he put me on hold for over 20 min and I hung up. Finally got to speak with someone about the appointment and had to reschedule ANOTHER MONTH AWAY! I already waited a month for the appointment and now I have to wait again. Worst ever experienced.

No service provided for fee

Bought the geek squad subscription- however unable to use since no technicians are available. Even though Best Buy knows they can’t fulfill the request, they still make appointments. We’ve had several no-shows, spent hours on the phone and still nothing. Had to go into the store to find out that they can’t fulfill the services. Next step is legal action since they wouldn’t refund the subscription.

Service No Longer Offered in Monterey, CA Area

Although I found calibration of a plasma TV in 2012 to be worth every penny, I'm told that current TV's tend to read better out of the box, so there's always taht...

It was ok

TV calibration

There were several times and never showed up no call nothing. I don’t know how they could just mark it off is completed. I am so dissatisfied with the service and Best Buy. If I could add negative stars I would.

Tv Calibration services

As of today and several phone calls later this matter has not been resolved. I was told that there’s only one person in the district and only works once a month. I wished I was told this prior to purchasing membership. Very bad experience.

Did not contact me at all

The guy canceled and then never came in to calibrate since it was an older smart TV. He never called to tell me that I did not have to calibrate because it was an older TV model but of course they still charged me for this service.

TV CALIBRATION

I can't believe how sharp my picture is. Thank you best buy for a job well done. My TV looks as good as it did when I brought it over a year ago.

Services never rendered.

After many attempts to get the calibration done by calling and coming into the store, I have since given up and will try to get a full refund. Its been 2.5 years. This is unacceptable.

Major home purchases

We have a 95 year old mother in law in our house and we are very cautious about COVID19. We tried vertical call but that did not work very well. We will hopefully try again in the Spring. This is a major purchase for us and we want to get it right.

It appeared the only thing that was done was contrast and brightness were changed. Maybe backlight and color intensity. I can do that myself. I think it was a waste of my money and time.

The technician did everything possible!

He did as much as possible to compensate for the issue, and probably bought us another year or so before we had to replace the TV, Great Job!. Above and beyond what was required.

I’m done

Best Buy wanted nothing to do with making the situation right and I had to go thru Samsung to get anything done. I’ve spent over $25,000 with Best Buy in the past 6 years to try and support brick and mortar for customer service but I’m done with that.

Now I see charge for it on 06-29-2020. It has not been done. You show it done 06-29-2020. We have not had it done because of Covid-19. I wanted to have this done, but now I say no to having it done because you charge for it and didn't do it.

Not easy to set up

Requires a bunch of info I no longer have for older tv and I couldn’t get to a human to explain. Wasted money for a service I never got to use,

Confusing service

What he calibrated: settings/channel/etc. are still a mystery to us. They indicated that there would be a follow-up email on how to leverage the new calibration, but it never arrived. Paid for the service, but we do not have information on how to leverage it.
