My biggest gripe is that you don't get a power plug for them. Needs a usb adapter power plug

For these to be more than $200 you’d think you’d have them for a little while. We bought them last year and only used them for Christmas. Got them out this year and plugged them in and nothing. Tried all troubleshooting and nothing.

Posted .The USB version of the DOTs doesn';t come with a USB adapter because they are thought to work on any USB connection, just like the Music Dongle. You can use it with your computer, with a Power Bank, or directly with a Plug. There is no limit!

We're sorry you experienced issues with your Twinkly Dots, but there's a warranty and in any case it's possible it's something that can be fixed remotely with a little troubleshooting.
So before return it, you could have get in touch with our Support team, we always stand behind our products, and if we attest a malfunctioning or a defect, we're happy to replace the product under warranty.
Not homekit ready

Twinkly support for their app was excellent also, but they struggled to help on homekit.
