These lights make an incredible addition to any holiday light display. I've used them for halloween and christmas, on trees and bushes. I've combined multiple strings and grouped them on the app, and also used them separately and synced them up. I did have an issue with my power supply failing when it got wet (I didn't tighten it enough and water shorted it out), but Twinkly sent me a replacement for free within a week. The app is easy to use and there are lots of customization options. I liked them so much I bought another 600 light string (up to 3 total now).

600 wasn't enough. I installed 600 on my 9 foot Christmas tree and immediately wanted more. The lights are bright and spaced perfectly for a good coverage. 9 foot tree needs 1200 lights! These are so much fun to program and play with. Spent hours creating new looks. A must for any geek that likes to show off.

I got these lights for my girlfriend this Christmas. Programming them wasn't very difficult with the Twinkly app on my iPhone. There are a lot of choices and options on the type of lighting it can provide. Plus it dances to music really well. They're expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's a high quality product.

I purchased this set to use as outdoor string lights around the roof trim of my home for the holidays. I loved the slim and simple look of the strings plus all of the added functionality of app controlled RGB. Only knock would be the layout of the system (discussed below). Pros: - RGB all the things! - The app was easy and straight forward. - The smile on my daughters face when I ran through a bunch of color and pattern options. - Lights are very bright. - The scheduling function and grouping of multiple units in the app. Cons: - The system is split into a Y. The power cable runs up the center and then splits in two directions for the length of the system. This made for a bit more planning and thought as to how I would run an extension cord to that center point without sticking out like a sore thumb. My house has an outlet on what would be a starting point for string lights that run across the whole house. but I wasn't able to use it since the power enters the system at the mid point. I would almost rather run two systems, one starting from each side of my house and meeting in the middle, but then that's a different headache for a different story. Price: There's a lot of knockoffs for a lot less, but I typically follow the "you get what you pay for" mentality.

High quality lights. DEFINITELY has the WOW factors seeing commercial level effect at home. I put the 600-light version over a 7.5 feet tree and it is just about the right count. The App is good in general. However the 3d mapping could be better. It failed most of the time. Had to use 2d mapping which only gave one side visual effect.

I purchased the Twinkly 600 light kit after seeing the 100 light kit on Deal of the Day. I decided on the 600 light kit after watching many reviews on YouTube and also reading many of the reviews on Bestbuy! The setup is a little tricky and it's important to follow the instructions closely. Also, it's important to make sure that the Twinkly app performs all system and firmware updates! Then it will complete the installation! The lights are bright and the app has many default features and modes. Then, beyond that, you can customize to your hearts desire! I ultimately decided not to use the music dongle, mainly because I was using the lights outside and I didn't want to setup a music source. My only regret now is that I didn't buy more!

My wife wanted a new tree, I wanted to keep our 20 year old tree as its filled with memories, enter the twinkly lights. So many reviews out there on how the product works I will cut to the chase. Our tree is 7.5 feet tall and the 600 light strand did a great job wrapping the entire tree. Our Christmas tree sits in front of a large bay window so we wanted full coverage as passers-by can see it from the sidewalk. I set the lights up via bluetooth so I cant speak for Wi-Fi but the process I used was quick, simple and intuitive. The light show is absolutely beautiful and my wife and I both got what we wanted, a new (looking) tree and I got to keep the old tree.

Absolutely spectacular. App is easy enough for my 8yr old! I read a few reviews that said the “Twinkly app stopped working after a few weeks.” But we’ve had it for a month with zero issues. I am wondering if those issues are folks with their phones set to “offload unused apps?” My phone blocker app would off load and stop working because I never “opened” it, so perhaps if you don’t open Twinkly app, it offloads it acts broken? Just a theory. We open our app every day because it’s so fun to change the lights. After Christmas, We will take them off the tree and hang them in kiddos room to keep the party going. Highly recommended!

Have had up 3 weeks and works great. Expensive but really cool lights, easy to string lights on tree, then little time working with the app to get full effects.

Worth the money, took me months to pull the trigger but glad I did. This is 2 sets of 600 on a 7 foot live tree. The possibilities are endless, the still photos don’t do it justice, any color/pattern you can think of, we have changed the trees color every 3-4 days or so. I had an issue with shipping, product never arrived, Best Buy handled the situation promptly, sent a replacement order in a matter of days. Outstanding/hassle free customer service provided by Best Buy

I do like the different colors and use of the app for the lights but dont like the fact 300 lights were split in half and the 300 were the other half were it was very hard to figure out how to assemble on my house. Since this is the 1st time using them, i hope to use them more wisely on trying to figure out how to assemble them onto my house. Also, would have liked that i could connect another light to this one. Each one has to be connected on a separate extension cord.

These lights are gorgeous & pretty user friendly. So many choices of colors & patterns.

These things are sweet, expensive but awesome. Very easy to set up and use, look awesome and have a ton of different scenes.

We were looking for a somewhat different way to decorate our Christmas tree this year. We decided to give the 600 count Twinkly set a try. Setup was fairly easy to get the lights up and working. The app is straightforward and easy to use. We enjoy having the ability to use the lights in a variety of patterns and colors. We did not us the music adapter that came with this set beyond initially trying it to make sure it worked. We will certainly tinker with adding music to our lighting.

Great functions, bright colors and perfect for tech guys that like unique products. I like bit expensive, though.

I purchased this new set of Christmas lights because my old set wasn’t going to make it another year, it was time to shop around for options. I love that I can set modes and play lists. I have it automatically turn on when we get home and I have it turn off at bedtime. The mapping tool is amazing. This was easy enough to set up and an enjoyable experience. We played with the music settings and we sampled all the modes. Dance is my favorite.

We bought a 10 foot tree so I bought 3 sets to make sure that we had enough lights as we like a lot of lights on our tree. Two was plenty. There are 600 lights per set and pretty bright. There are many patterns you can set the lights to and a few more in the Twinkly “store” (they are all free too). Some of the moving downloadable ones were hard to decifer but the regular ones have worked great.

I’ve been buying Twinkly lights for many years. Terrific for front yard holiday lights. Easy to program with the app that provides lots of different themes for other celebrations. Last year my Twinkly setup won me a first prize in a neighborhood association holiday lights contest.

This is awesome on the Christmas tree and the app give it a new life.
