So my family was constantly complaining about the poor wifi in the house of 3 floors with my existing Luxol router that was a little over a year old. Geek Squad came over and said the mesh system was a good fix, and better than any extender. They recommended this Amplifi product. So far, is is working great. I also like the feature that you can go on a phone app and pause wifi for teens during homework hours.

I absolutely love this product! It was super easy to set up and now I have outstanding wi-fi in remote areas of my house. I love that I could buy as many extra "mesh points" as I might need, but actually, the two that came with the package are perfect! I am truly blown away by the way this coordinates with the app on my phone. I haven't been this enthusiastic about a product for a long time!

Awesome product and easiest router I’ve ever setup and great control and speed.

Great item especially for the first time i have a whole home wifi(mesh) system. Really does expand and truly fulfills the needs of my home that has 4 rooms. That means with 4 tvs, 5 cellphones, couple other gear connected to the wifi i dont feel a lag at any time and i even get wifi in my hammock in my backyard! The only reason its not a 5 star is because it can be improved and it is going through those improvements by system updates which shuts off the system for a couple minutes. And for a system of this price i would expect better.

Been through a dozen routers over the years, typically looked for best reviews at a price point below $150. Being in a new, large single level home + DSL now (up in the sticks a little), wanted something that would maximize our connection and cover every inch of the house. This does that, has a great interface, and is stupid easy to setup/maintain. Will buy the next version too - Amplifi is 'lit' as the kids say.

Easy install and great coverage very pleased with performance and range

This system is very fast and reliable. It also has a very long range.

Ubiquiti makes stellar wireless equipment. I was glad to see that they started offering something for the residential market. I have a 3,000 sq ft house and it covers the whole thing with ease. I had 2 of the Netgear Orbis and there were a few spots with no/low signal. Installing the AmpliFi HD solved the problem entirely.

This is a fine mesh wireless system. Setup was easy and it covers the entire house (but not cheap).

I replaced my Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router with this and it resolved all the issues I had with dropped streaming on. music and video in different rooms of the house. My house is 4400 square feet and the coverage is now complete inside and outside as well. My only negative comment is that the two remote mesh devices even though not far from that base unit report only about 54% of signal but the coverage is still better than what I had even with two wireless bridges which I have now retired.

Excellent wi-fi coverage across three story home. Best feature: three SSIDs available to separately set up 2.4 and 5 ghz as well as both optimized by the unit. Why important? So many home control devices require a dedicated 2.4 ghz signal. AND so many other mesh routers do not have this option.

Listen. Don’t by an Orbi. Don’t by the google pod things. This is it. Ubiquitis line of products is hands down some of the best in the market. Ranking with high dollar access points and business grade equipment. You want ease of use and minimal hassle? than get this. Or don’t and call your local IT/ neighborhood computer guru over to fix all your issues every few weeks.

Setup was simple and my house now has excellent coverage. I'm getting nearly 1 Gbs speeds wired but the wifi connection doesn't need to be able to go faster than 300 Mbs. My furthest access point usually hovers around 150 Mbs.

Finding a suitable router for a home is difficult, the traditional wifi routers have a lot of dead spots especially for two story homes. I purchased Amplifi based on two friend recommendations and have had the system up and running over a month with zero issues. The mobile application is also easy to use and offers some advanced configurations for those who need it.
