So easy to setup...BUT....lacks remote features...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Amplifi system was so easy to setup I was shocked. Once I set it up and wanted to access it from a remote location on LTE I found out that I was not able to do so. I checked to make sure that I had "Remote" setup and it was. After chatting with the support center they said that this system "is having issues with LTE connection, but to try on a wifi connection." I tried and it barely worked. It took FOREVER to connect, I could have driven home faster. When my child needs wifi and I have restrictions on the wifi...I should be able to change this at the drop of a hat. Not with Amplifi. After spending $400 I am stuck. I still may return this to go back to Google Wifi if this is not fixed soon.

Solid Wi-Fi but one big flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I swear this isn’t clickbait. I really do like the Amplifi mesh system but knowing that if/when my router goes out that I cannot simply purchase a new router without a temporary reconfiguration is frustrating. Even then it’s not a permanent solution as they can become unpaired again. It seems at this point you’d have to purchase a whole new system or purchase each individual piece separately as then they are not hardwired to each other. Essentially, the 2 mesh points are hardwired to a single router, and if it goes out you can re-pair them i’ve heard but not without it being a bit of an annoyance. If i did it all over again i’d look for another wi-if mesh system unless Ubuquiti can fix this.

Ubiquiti - AmpliFi HD Mesh Wi-Fi System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit for work specifically because of the range claimed of up 20,000 square feet. It is mediocre at best . While it wokrs good onside The office building (two story 2500 SQ) , Once you step outside, the signal is weak and it drops significantly. I have work bays outside the building attached to the main building.

Great for small home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was purchased for my company but found that it does not extend the wifi as advertised but I was able to use it at home to extend the wifi a little farther back in the house.

It’s for WiFi and it’s white
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for two bands but it didn’t specify genre. Meshing them together sounded good until I realized I was meshing a Polka band with an Emo band. Oh, well - live and learn I suppose.

deserves 5 stars but let down by their head office
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.basically this router is most likely the best option on routers even after Ive had mine a year, but please read on..... why i give it 1 star? easy, mine went wrong after 13 months, what are my options.... 1) the whole cube and both nodes ... the bin... even though it comes with two mesh nodes that retail at $130 each (i know as i bought a third) they are im told by technical "bonded permanently to the cube..' 2) can i get my cube repaired or replaced/swapped/refurbed (at my cost) by them apparently nope.... only if it was in warranty can i even raise the report by email for them to even consider. 3) can i spend another 350 and get the cube with two more nodes and still use the 2+1 nodes i have to at least have super cover around my property using 5 nodes... nope.... 4) can i buy a 1x new cube (for $150 ) with no nodes and use those the 2 +1 nodes i have ... nope.... 5) will anyone answer my very polite emails asking for ANY options or help and clarifying any of the above .... nope... only technical online has answered any of those but they can not assist in direction any repairs or answer any questions regarding repairs 6) is there a phone number you can call yes! .... does it put you through to anyone... nope... it is a machine that refers you to the online technical team.. (who wont be able to answer any details about repairs etc)... and then the machine hangs up on you. do i recommend the technical aspect of the router Absolutely! do i think i will buy or recommend amplifi ever again.... nope.....

USB on the back is useless
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item because i wanted a mesh I can use to share my personal videos and photos. There is a USB on the back of the unit, but you cannot use it to plug in a Hard drive or flash drive. I never got to open the package because even though it was recommended but the Bestbuy team, once I got home I look at the reviews and figure out the USB is useless. So I'm giving it 3 starts because the USB on the back is misleading.

Great idea, but did not work in metal shed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a awesome technique and I am sure it works, but with my house not being in direct line of site to our steel arena it did not work for us. Bummed, was really counting on it working!

Poor connectivity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very unreliable. Required constant restarts. Rolling back firmware did not fix it. Numerous tech support chats sessions did not figure it out. Well beyond the return point for Best Buy and now I am stuck with a $400+ unit that does not work and no fix in sight. I certainly expected more from a company that specializes in WiFi but it feels more like some startup built a WiFi router.
