Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the AmpliFi HD AC1750 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System's ease of use, extensive coverage and range, and strong signal strength, frequently praising its simple setup and excellent performance. While some users found the price to be high and reported issues with the USB port and occasional connectivity problems, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns for many.

Got it, set up. Used the app to check status and strength of signals. 10 ft away in one room showed 100 percent. The other in the garage about 25 ft and very little signal strength at 40 percent. Checked WiFi signals in the 1 acre yard and it was either at 1-2 bars. The music app I use kept buffering. I had it for two weeks and there were a couple updates which did nothing to improve anything. The speed was not any faster than my old wifi. Disconnected, reconnected my old WiFi and it works better than this one. I took this back.

Had really high hope for this router and basically it's trash from what I can tell. Over twenty years of IT experience and have never had a problem with router until I got this one. Basically, after upgrading the firmware, the router stops talking to the ISP. My ISP doesn't use a modem but I bricked 2 systems this weekend after the firmware update. Plus the wireless speeds weren't up to par. Was using an Orbi mesh system before but needed to replace it after the wired side of the network went down. Switching back to the Orbi for now. Really disappointed.

After reading several reviews, I decided to purchase this product. Had a hard time finding it at the store (they said they had it but did not) and ran into two sales rep at 2 different stores who had never heard of it and pushed me towards Google wifi or Linksys. Very happy that I purchased on bestbuy.com and waited - very easy setup and very high performance despite a house with a poor floor plan. Highly recommended. Also - dont’ worry if you’ve never heard the name, the parent company is very well known for its enterprise network products.

After spending way too much time researching what to get to extend our wifi to an outbuilding located about 250' from the house, we decided on the AmpliFi HD. The reviews talked about 3 story houses, square footage and wall composition, but very little about linear feet or reaching outbuildings. We just finished the installation (very easy) and, voilà! We have the complete coverage we were seeking. We placed the router (which has a lot more reach that our old router) in the back of the house by a window in the room closest to the outbuilding. We placed the mesh point in the outbuilding by a window closest to the house. On a side note, we placed the second mesh point in the front of the house and now have service all over our 250 year old, 4 story, 3,800 sq ft house that has 12" thick wooden walls. That's not the point of this review, but is a great bonus.

When it works, it’s great. Awesome feature set. A bit pricey, but that kinda comes with the territory. Then out of nowhere the WAN port died. Completely stopped communicating with the router. Their online RMA process is a pain and so far has been a total failure.

We bought this to use at a vacation home so we would have good coverage for our outdoor security cameras. It is AMAZING! We have internet coverage all the way from the road down to the lake on a 40,000 sf lot - not to mention in every foot of the 2500 sf house. Setup could not have been any easier. No disappointment here.

The router is horrible, did not last 2 years. Company (both Best Buy and the manufacturer) won't do anything to help. It costs $350 and is now a paperweight. Incredibly disappointed.

FOR 2 YEARS IVE BATTLED and Battle no more!! I have approx. 12 devices connected on my network and have battled slow speeds and lagging all the time with 150MBPS speed from comcast due to a terrible wifi conection for far to long. NO MORE this device sets up in minutes and we are off to the races. I tried to slow it down by streaminig two movies, playing a ps4, and I had my son gaming on his computer. All the devices minus the computer hooked up to the wifi signal on the AMPLIFI and perfect!! It is user friendly for the not so tech savy guy like myself. The price point is a little more economic compared to the other systems, and I have control to knock off anyone on the network. Plus it looks kinda cool. A++++++ AMPLIFI!!

24/7 chat is your only source of customer support should you need it in the case your router slows your ISP provided download speed by 90%. I wish you luck

Worked pretty well for a little over two years, then died. For the price, would expect a better lifespan. I have cheaper routers that have lasted years longer.

    Excellent WiFi system

Purchased this after discussing my terrible WiFi signal in my home with Apple Timecapsule. I was first recommended to the Netgear Orbi system and purchased it. After 2 days of constantly losing the internet signal and contacting Netgear with terrible customer service it went back real fast. The gentleman in the computer department highly suggested the AMPLIFI HD over the Orbi for the exact reasons. I took this thing home and it literally took me longer to unbox it than it did to set it up. Apple users know how easy apple is to set up and I can definitely say this was easier. I’m confident a child could do it as 2 year olds know how to use an iPad and iPhone these days. The results were absolutely amazing and I had full coverage thru my large home including the basement. I am pulling a consistent 123 mb and I pay for 100mb. Just for the heck of it I went outside and walked 3 houses down from mine. I still had a connection and was pulling 90mb. I’m no computer geek but having that type of coverage rocks!!! Last the actual router has a really awesome display and it is very small and attractive. The mesh adapters can go to any electrical outlet and can be moved anytime you want with no issues. I am 100% satisfied with this product.

I bought this product recently and enjoyed using this very much. My house is quite large, and the regular wifi router does not provide a great coverage. I hated to wait for video streaming when I was upstairs in my room. So I shopped around for amplify. I read a few reviews on this product and decided to give it a shot. It was super fast with my current Internet, and so easy to install and manage through an app. Now I can enjoy the WiFi in every room without streaming delay.
