Easiest setup ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system works seamlessly to provide lightning fast reliable internet to all of your devices. I have C-Spire fiber giganet and it has not problem at all keeping up, but in instances where I am not being throttled by the distant end I am seeing up to .5gig on the device and I am talking over WiFi folks.

Beware if you have Fiber internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently installed att 1gb internet in my house and was looking to upgrade my AirPort Extreme router for a mesh system. Saw this in the store and read many reviews on it’s great range and speeds. Needles to say, I bought it. One thing this system does have is that it’s installation is a breeze. Once installed I checked the speeds and it would not give me more than 150mbps. Don’t buy this system if you have fiber optic internet as it will not give you all the speed of fiber optic internet. Replaced it with the Orbi system from Netgear and now I get 500mpbs on my cell phone and 800 mbps on my laptop.

Amazing - The last router you will ever buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best wifi router on the market. So easy to set up, beautiful to look at and a very easy use app. I could never get a strong signal on the second floor of my house - now I can get a signal down the block. Highly recommended!

AWFUL SYSTEM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this system at Best Buy in Albuquerque. I paid to have The Geek Squad come and install it. Many hours later they gave up and brought me the Linksys Velop system that was easy for them to set up, and it is working perfectly. Amplifi absolutely wasted hours of my time!!!! And Geek Squads also. This was not my lack of knowledge. This was the Best Buy experts that could not get it to work. It was an awful experience.

Buy at your own risk of property damage and injury
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the AmpliFi HD set from Best Buy and had to exchange twice because the AC wall antennas make buzzing sound audible within 4 feet. The sound comes from within the antenna enclosure and it sounded like electricity crackling. All three sets that I bought from Best Buy have the same problem. In addition, two of the three sets have defective antenna. The second set has a bad antenna that beeps continuously for around 30 seconds and died off. When I pressed "Locate" button in my smart phone to test the location of the antenna, that antenna produced several beeps but the beeps were distorted from high to low pitch, and after several tries with the "Locate" button, that antenna no longer beeps. The third set also has a bad antenna, but its beep only has a slight distortion. I contacted AmpliFi customer support and they were completely incompetent. Not only were customer support representatives unable to figure out what were wrong with the 3 sets of defective AmpliFi HD (they all concurred that the antennas should NOT produce such sound), they were slow to respond (and phone communication is only available during Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm Mountain Standard Time, so if you work or go to school, you will NOT be able to communicate with AmpliFi's customer service via phone). Because of delay in their response (they told me to return the defective set to them), I could no longer return the third defective set at Best Buy because it was beyond 15 days from purchase. To add insult to injury, AmpliFi advised that even though I can return the defective set to AmpliFi and receive a replacement set, I will have to pay for shipping even though AmpliFi has a problem with its Quality Control department. Per AmpliFi customer service representative, it takes 7-8 business days to process the replacement set AFTER however long it takes to ship the defective set to AmpliFi. When I asked if AmpliFi will test and ensure a non-defective set be shipped to me, the representative advised that there's no way of doing that because the replacement set is packaged. In other words, if I receive yet another defective set, I will have to repeat the aforementioned process over again at my dime and time. If this is not irresponsibility and incompetency at its worst, I don't know what is. To anyone thinking of buying AmpliFi HD, I strongly do NOT recommend it. Even representatives at Best Buy have advised me that they get A LOT of returns from people who purchased AmpliFi HD because of the defect.

Good coverage, slow speed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have fiber internet at the house and with att router I was getting average of 500/500 on my s9 phone about 5 ft away from the router. Installed this router after reading the reviews and my speed actually went down, same distance I know get a max of 300/300. Maybe I got a defective unit and this one is going back.

Not worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this system to upgrade my wifi. I was very disappointed in this system, especially after reading numerous reviews. This system was not compatible with my alarm system, it only worked with the app and no other device could find it. I ended up returning it two days later and hooking back my two year old netgear router back up.
