we got this small speaker because it is waterproof

Figuring out which button does what can be a challenge. Push button and hold to go into paring mode sometimes is a bit of a challenge. And how do you turn it off doesn't go as planned sometimes. When everything is right, it plays and sounds good.

I've had the UE Roll for about a month now. The navigation system in my car malfunctioned and I couldn't control the radio station or my Spotify playlist until I had it replaced. In comes the UE Roll. I tried to set up my old Jambox but it's boxy dimensions and lack of directional sound didn't produce the volume I needed to block out road noise. The UE Roll was just what I was looking for. The nearly flat, disc shaped speaker rarely moved out of place my dash and the sound was loud, clear, and all encompassing. Being a portable bluetooth speaker this was perfect for connecting my iPhone to while driving, I never had any disconnects, and the app has some unique features. This isn't the most bass heavy model I've ever heard, but for the music I tend to gravitate towards and the design I never felt like the bass was too weak. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and going forward I will continue to use this over my Jambox and outside of my car.

Traveled for work to an island for 6 weeks. Was great for plane rides there and back, as well as on the island with me always being on the move

Haven't tried it yet. Bought when it was the deal of the day.. giving it to my son for Christmas. So we shall see how it is.

Pairs easily with other bluetooth devices. Very portable and easy to take along, but limited sound due to its size.
