Q: does this speaker stand up?
A: This speaker is well worth the Benjamin. Used it for a recent float trip on the Buffalo River and it out-performed anything else there. I saw two people ruin much more expensive speakers on the river that day, but mine kept on cranking even with the rapids splashing it. I'd like to have one in every color, honestly.
Q: how do you determine amount of remaining battery life?
A: There is an app that you can use on your phone and it has a battery indicator.
Q: Is this loud enough to be heard over 30 elem students in a classroom?
A: Yes. We use it for preschoolers fitness classes.
Q: can two be linked to play in unison?
A: I have 2 linked, but I don't think there is a way to do a third. I wish it did, but it only give the option to make them Left and Right. I have one in one room and the other in a second, and it seems to work great. The only ones that I found to do more than 2 were wifi based and significantly more expensive. Good luck to you!
Q: What is the warranty like? Should I get the Best Buy warranty?
A: I have not had a problem with it and I use it extensively.

A: It can play for about 9 hours at half volume, and about 5 hours at full volume.

A: Yes. Works w/ my S7
