Stop changing for awhile and had to purchase a JBL charge 5

So this Bluetooth speaker is a bit different then others that have recently come out. Compact tube design, about the size of 20oz soda bottle. LOUD!!!! This CRANKS the tunes on full volume, almost too loud for a table. Per the packaging, you can link 2,3,150+ of these together... I only own one, so can test it... but have done it with other products, and that is a MAJOR advantage. You could wireless connect these, and spread an entire field area with just these small speakers, all in sync. Back to this single speaker: - has a screw in option in the base, so you can mount it to a standard camera tri-pod. Don't think that is a big deal, think about it... you can take it and place it anywhere, and it doesn't have to be on a table. It can be in the corner of the tent, or just out in the open. - Big power and volume buttons, you won't be searching for these. - LONG provided cord. While it has an impressive battery life (ran it for 6 hours, and still didn't kill it)… you can take this cord, and add any size battery pack (or even a wall outlet), with no problem. You do need to provide the power adapter though, not included. - So my FAVORITE feature, the 360 sound. You can't see the cones in this speaker, so I don't know how they are doing it.... but the AUDIO is the same all the way around this speaker. left, right, front, back, a little left and to the back, etc.. so there is no one place with this speaker that you are at a disadvantage... According to the packaging it is water-proof and floats.... I am not ready to test that yet.... not something in my normal routine. I'll leave that for the next reviewer

Fell in love with this speaker straight out of the box! It is absolutely beautiful in my opinion, sturdy, aesthetically pleasing. Love the feel and look of this speaker. It stands upright and you are able to place the charging cable in the lower end on the back without any awkward set up. The battery is a beast and lasts longer than I can listen to in one sitting. I have yet to recharge it and its been hours!!!! The sound is rich, deep, and full. It sounds as if there are at least 4 different speakers in this small packed monster. There is a downloadable app that includes an EQ but I'm not really a fan of these EQ apps for Bluetooth speakers. I got it for the portability and convenience of just powering up, connecting and playing my tunes. This speaker does that flawlessly and it has amazing range. I connect my phone and place it down in the house, and carry my speaker all around the yard and house with no missed beats. Volume is pretty impressive for the compact speaker and the Magic button is kind of cool. Very well thought out design overall and I have no complaints at this point. Great speaker at this price range and you cant go wrong with this one.

I didn't like how my music was coming out of this speaker. On the highest volume the music was already sounding distorted.

Price is high for the quality of the product. Battery info does not meet operating function as described in specs.

Already stop charging. Plugged it up overnight and 3 hours in the day.

Great quality but dies fast for me since the first time using it while battery is 100 so Personally it doesnt last 15 hours like it says it only lasts me max 1 hr sometimes less

I have always been impressed with the Bluetooth speakers that Ultimate Ears has released and the Boom 3 is no exception. The build quality is once again exceptional and I really like the new texture on the outside of the Boom 3 that differs from the older models as it feels great and gives it a more high quality look. You can definitely tell that high quality materials were used building these speakers. The sound is exceptional with this speaker for the size as it is difficult to find smaller Bluetooth speakers that don`t distort vocals too much or drown them out with base as the volume is increased, but the Boom 3 does a great job with this. The ability to navigate songs, play/pause, and turn the volume up/down are extremely simple which is appreciated. The massive volume buttons with this are probably my favorite aspect of any Bluetooth speaker as they look stylish yet greatly improve functionality. The ruggedness of this speaker is great and the fact that it is not only waterproof, but also floats is so useful as it allows it to be taken on a lake or ocean and you don`t have to worry about it falling off a boat and sinking like many other waterproof speakers. One other small aspect I did want to mention is the loop on top of the speaker that allows it to be hung from numerous places instead of having to mess with metal mounts that make you have to screw it in. Overall, this is my favorite portable bluetooth speaker for outdoor activities as the look, ruggedness, and overall performance are exceptional!

I have had this speaker for 13 days and its already making loud noises during song playing. Returning it to the store today. I would not buy it again.

Staff is very disorganized. Movie was ordered to pick up at store: they spent 45 minutes looking for it after my arrival. When I went back to check on them, found five large storage boxes with hundreds of movies just piled in. Nothing sorted or put on the counter...and they had been that way for four days!

Ultimate Ears makes some of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market. I have owned previous versions of the speaker and have been a long-time fan of them. This new speaker is no exception. It has some slight tweaks that make an already great speaker that much better. The overall build quality and feel to the speaker is great and improved over previous versions. Although the design is only a slight change it feels much more premium and I am a huge fan of the new design versus the old. Having owned many UE speakers, I can say they really upgraded it this year. It is hard to improve and already great speaker but the boom 3 offers deep bass and rich sounds. The sound is amazing, and the speaker allows you to take that sound with you anywhere. Since this speaker is water proof you can take it outside near the pool or to the beach. Even outdoors it has a large enough sound to fill the space. I love that you can use the app to connect multiple speakers at once. With multiple speakers hooked together this device is unstoppable. Battery life is on the shorter end compared to some speakers but honestly it is more than enough. Rated at around 15 hours it should be plenty for any need. Ultimate Ears also makes a charging dock for this speaker that allows you to place the speaker on and charge while using it, then grab the speaker and run when you need. Anyone looking for a durable, loud, great sounding compact speaker should look at this as an option. I highly recommend this speaker.

Terrible sound! Didn’t receive credit for being a $50 YEARLY CUSTOMER MEMBER paying $50. Best Buy owes me $25.00. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BEST BUT “once again”

I buy 2. The firt one batery die really quick. The second one I charge the battery never turn on so damage in the first week i buy the item.
