I've worn a variety of wrist-based health trackers (starting with various sorts of bands and moving on to watches) for many years now to track activity, fitness, heart rate, sleep and other statistics. Now that many of those same sensors can be packed into a MUCH smaller ring, I figured I'd give this Ultrahuman Ring AIR a try and see if it can replace my trusty watch. At the end of the day, the result is that it COULD, but probably won't as it's very good...but not quite perfect. First, the goods. The ring is generally very light and setup was quite easy - I like the concept of the charging cradle as it makes charging very easy. The app is reasonable to use and does provide a lot of data, which seems to be very accurate. The sleep tracking is particularly good and everything syncs rather effortless, both the Ultrahuman app and to my Apple Health account. The ring is waterproof and does seem like it will be fairly durable. So all of that is very good - and leads me to think this could be a permanent replacement for the watch. But then we get to the so-so and not so good. First, the battery is merely middling - in the default "chill" setting that reduces the sensor frequency to extend the battery a bit, I'm seeing perhaps 3-4 days of continous wear before it wants to be charged (charging is quick) which is less than my watch (which frequently goes 5-6+ days). The watch is sort of chunky as the sides are not tapered, but square which makes the ring feel bigger than it is (and, speaking of those sides, you can see the sensors on the side if you look closely enough which makes it clearly a sensor ring vs jewelry. And the app does like to try to sell you things even though you already bought the ring! The biggest thing though is the fit. While the sizing kit helps, I do wish the ring came in half sizes as it of course can't be "sized" in the traditional fashion and I'm a bit between sizes. While it's not so big that it would fall off, I would like a slightly smaller fit (or a slightly bigger one to fit on my other fingers). All that said, this is a solid health tracking option if you want to keep track of a large number of different health variables. If you don't mind some of the drawbacks - and if you can find a size that fits very well - you'll definitely want to check out this watch today!

love the ring. monitors everything I ever wanted. Best of all is they do not collect data for 3rd parties like other rings do.

This ring has potential and was giving myself and my wife great data for a while. (6-12 months) BOTH of our rings FAILED and stopped working either before or just after the 1 year warranty period. Ultrahuman will replace the ring for free up to 3 times within a year. However, I don't believe this is worth it because the ring simply won't last after that replacement. Don't waste $300+ dollars for 6-12 months of time. Ultrahuman needs to fix and improve the charging process. They give you a charger without a power block so there is no standard for wattage or amps or type of charger you should use. This ultimately kills your ring which is a fatal design flaw by Ultrahuman. When it works, it's great, but it's temporary and then un-useable. I won't be buying another Ultrahuman ring.

Have tried multiple health rings, as I can't wear a watch to bed and needed sleep data. The Ultrahuman is by far the best I've tried. Hooks up easily and gives so many different readings that are easy to understand. The Ultrahuman warranty and staff are superior! Will continue to upgrade for as long as they continue to make new models.

I got the size 12 and it wasnt the correct size was my fault though

Ring stopped working after a week. Just stopped being able to connect and find by the app. Customer service was quick and helpful though and replaced them right away.
