Excellent movie featuring the late, great Prince..

Say what you will about Prince, he did what he wanted. The movie comes off as silly and vain. (He plays a gigalo)It's hard to get through. Some of the songs are quite good.

A film that might not be for everyone but if you're a Prince fan it's an essential look (and given the bargain price worth a blind buy).

This is not a great movie, but it is vintage Prince at his campiest (intentional?) Worth watching if you are a fan, and I'm a fan.

Kind of disappointed seeing this. Wasn’t all I was hoping for. Purple Rain is by far the better movie.

Good movie with a different story line. I bought this movie knowing it was a cheap movie and still enjoy watching it.

The setting is nice. It's fun watching the very pretty Prince act. Hard to believe that the movie is 30 years old.

Huge Prince fan here, but I never saw this when it first came out. Picked it up on Blu-ray for $3.99, which is barely more than it would cost to rent and all I can say is.... it wasn't worth it. Watch Purple Rain again, or "Sign O' The Times" or.... pretty much anything but this.

A decent movie. Not as good as purple rain. Worth watching at least once.
