Had a unit exactly like this in the 90's. It was great for reception. The new one sent to me was less than half the size. It was too hard to work the keys. I returned it to the Lancaster, Pa store.

I got this for my husband to replace the one that was broken. This is a much better unit than the one he had before. It picks up way more stations than the other. Overall he is completely happy with this one. He would recommend it

I've had trouble getting it to "scan", but when I manually put in the stations, it works great. Weather feature is great.

I liked it because it’s easy to use but I didn’t get much reception at least in my area I wasn’t able to pick up any police talk only air traffic stuff but it might’ve been me not using it correctly! So I ended up returning it!
