I bought this item to replace my older one that was big, bulky & 1/2 the time did not pick up radars. This works like a charm & I really like the different sounds for k band & laser.

I’ve owned several radar detectors, and none of the others even came close to what this one will do. It will detect law enforcement far,far away. I really like this one, the Unidentifiable R3.

Nice long range rd! Excellent for long commute. Save me a lot from going back and forth to fresno. Previously had the r7 but its too big for my liking

Replaced an Escort 8500. What an upgrade in detection and features. So many setting to choose from. Watched several video online prior to deciding on the R3. You will not be disappointed.

Happy with my purchase. It detects radar from afar and is capable of filtering false positives. Much better than the Escort I used to own.

Excellent for the price. No other really compares at this price point. Picks up signals from waaayyyy down range. Has definitely saved me a few times

Works great with very little false alerts. Packed with features and with the sale price at Best Buy right before Christmas, it is a big win!

First off radar detector not cop detector lol some people get that confused. I have used. Cheap cobra ones less then 100$ they always go off for blind spot, people’s garage doors. This one filters that out very well. City most of these are hit and miss. High way mode and traveling I have picked up highway patrol 3-4 miles away. Almost installs a sense of false security haha. I use it everyday. No issues. Has a gps built in to store spots that have radar signs so it doesn’t go off. Get one read how it works and what to look for. Learn it’s habits and you will be surprised. People tell you these don’t work lol they are wrong. You still blow past a cop without radar on or do something stupid it’s not gonna save you. But if there radar is on and pointed at you it will let you know. If there’s one thing not to go cheap on is a radar detector. 100% get what you pay for.

Don’t get me wrong, it works and it works really good with police radars. Just the only thing that makes it 4stars and not five, a lot of false alerts. Still will recommend since it does the job with police radars.

The Uniden R3 has excellent range and does a very good job of filtering out other car's BSD. The ability to mute based on freq and location is great and prevents a lot of those annoying false alerts.

This is honestly the best radar the best bang for your buck don’t cheap out on the cobra one cuz you want a cheap radar!

This thing is so accurate and has such a great range, I absolutely cannot stand to drive without this awesome radar. 100% think it's the best purchase I've made in a while!

Best bang for your money. I took a road trip from pa drove to Miami then drove to Atlanta then back to Pa over 3500 miles and I was really impressed that it did it’s job keeping the troopers in my rear view

Does not throw a lot of false alerts, I have not had any issues with it. K band does go off a lot near stores due to the auto doors.

The R3 is one of the best radar detectors I've used. The range is better than the R1 in my experience. Gps auto mute is great as well. Would definitely recommend

Great detector with really good range. I have the R8 which costs twice as much but has only about 10% more range in my opinion. The HPD memory feature is nice since everything seems to run K band these days. The auto off after an hour makes sure to never run the car battery as well. Highly recommended

Worth every penny. Great radar detector. It has very long rang capabilities and it does what is says.

Very good for the money. Is a little chatty with false alerts but has saved me multiple times from a ticket too.
