This radar detector is worth every penny. The distance at which you're alerted is insane! It's easy to use and install in your car.

Long range and easy to use menus, this is well worth the purchase. Was holding off until I found a good one in my price range.

This detector is the bomb, I mean that in the best way. I had the cobra 480i and it started driving me crazy with all the false alerts so I upgraded to this. It's like night and day, you can customize every thing on this puppy. As for false alerts with this model you just tap mark button and it recalls alert and stops it, COOL. I purchased a mirror mount and get power from my top console so no wires hanging, it's great. And firmware update was easy as pie.

I have the max 360, and i am replacing it with this. The max 360 is a great device, but i was looking for something that's more long range. this device is also small and light.

I've used this radar detector on an almost daily basis for over two years and never had any issues. It's very sensitive and has been a reliable and effective warning system that has saved me from potential tickets more than once. A great investment and much cheaper than a speeding ticket and increased auto insurance.

This works perfectly and detects things way before I ever see them. It also has a feature to set up memory muting for specific spots where you know it’ll go off every day. If you do purchase this please consider looking at a blend mount set up. They work very well and it looks super great. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Works great. The only wish it shows a direction where signal is coming from. But overall - Highly recommend.

Nice mid price detector, very sensitive, accurate, can detect from distance.

Bought it for a spontaneous 10 hour trip multiple states away. I was going to resell it thinking I would only need it for long trips, which I don’t make too often, but I am 100% glad I kept it! I bought a wiring kit so I didn’t have to use the normal cable it comes with. The normal cable works amazing tho! I would recommend this for anyone wanting to invest in one!

This unit does a great job of detecting Ka at long range and finding and marking false K band notifications. Mounts easily and isn't so large as to look conspicuous.

Great product I've had no problems with it I installed it under the visor in my Corvette have to buy a bracket for it though but that's okay it works wonderful Great product.

By far the best radar detector I’ve ever owned. I’ve had many the top of the line detectors throughout my life but this by far is the best complete package and has already saved me some from getting a ticket more than a few times. Great detection range, even around corners, hills, etc... it also is very good locking out false alerts caused by store security sensors, car sensors, and many others compared to other detectors. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best top of line radar detector!!!

I researched models for some time and came to find Best Buy to have plenty of stock and reliable reviews on the Uniden R3. Shipping was extremely fast, and the package includes multiple mounting options and accessories. I would recommend also purchasing a "BlendMount radar holder" (separate source for purchase) if you are looking for a clean, no exposed wire, look. Has helped me during my travels across multiple states identifying new speed limits and police enforcement.

This detector is not like the others. The long-range feature works GREAT! I especially love the ability to tag locations where you get erroneous signals with the GPS features. Having the ability to update the detector is also a plus. One really cool feature worth mentioning is the mute function on the plug so you don't have to reach up to the detector to mute it when it is continually going off and it is only for that signal. Once it picks up a different signal it unmutes so you don't get busted. Lol.

It has paid for itself. Out of the box it's ready to go. I only turned the volume down a bit. It's been in my car gor over 4 months. Would like for it to give a direction instead of just detection though. I also never knew department stores have radar in front of them until I bought this. Range is monumental. I detect cops far before I even see them.

This has been the best radar i have ever purchased and it's very accurate

No complaints in 2 months. Gives plenty of warning. My only complaint is the K band goes off a ton, but I’ve learned to ignore it.
