Straight forward radar. Honestly works great. Has a difficult time detecting anything if they are behind a hill/mountain side but if they are in the middle of the highway itll pick them up seveal miles out

very simple to use. GPS feature is helpful since it removes common alerts near my daily route such as store alarms and door sensors. I like that its really easy to unclip and put aside in the glove box in case I'm next to a cop.

This is a really good radar detector. It is simple and easy to use. The Geek Squad at Best Buy hard wired the device to my truck, and did an outstanding job. I recommend that buyers have it installed at Best Buy.

Very happy with the purchase. Long range detection and a mute button on the charger for convenience, great design and setting options but especially like the setting for radar types so you can tell the difference between different types of signals.

This is a great radar detector for the money. If I'm on a highway and a long straight, I've detected an officer's radar gun 2 miles away. The GPS memory is useful but it does pickup blind-spot monitoring on vehicles and doesn't filter them out too well. Also, it's fragile. It fell off the windshield and that little fall now gives the screen a green line down one side. That's all it took. Otherwise, it's great.

This radar will start alerting you much farther away than others. Almost makes you wonder where the alerts are coming from. If you need the directional arrows, the R7 is the upgraded version of this one, but is too large in my opinion. The size of this one is just right, and updates are free as well!

The Ka radar has saved me so many times. If you use Highway mode, it can capture Ka bands from about a mile away

Awesome long range detector! Probably saved me thousands during a 4300 mile coast to coast drive. Highly recommend! A little difficult if you aren’t familiar with settings but great tutorials available online!
