This is one of the best detectors ive ever used. My trip from NM to Las Vegas was cut in half the time. If youve ever gone from kingma AZ to Vegas you know how many cops patrol that desert highway.

This is really long range. You’ll wonder if you are getting a false alert Then finally you will see the police car. Even in city mode. Been very impressed with this unit. The display is a little small. Harder to see for us old folks.

Simple to set up and use. Range is outstanding. Auto false alert is slow to add to memory.

I've owned many brands of detectors throughout my life and this is the king. If you get a ticket armed with this unit in your vehicle, then you probably deserve it. You'll be forewarned long in advance of the threat. Just buy it, it'll pay for itself many times over.

I bought this right before I began a 5500 mile business trip and this detector saved me from probably 10 tickets. Even while in "city" mode, it's still a bit too sensitive within city limits, but there are further manual adjustments if you wish. Personally I prefer being safe rather than sorry, so I just ignored or muted the signal if I thought it was a false alert.

I did a lot of research and it took a couple of years for me to decide on what radar detection device to purchase. This one has many great features at a lower cost than most. I have been very happy with this model.

This is an all around superb radar detector. The only drawback is the power adapter plug is on the left side of unit. This made for the power cord to hang across the radio/air condition controls since lighter adapter is on the right side of vehicle. Functionality and K/Ka detection outweighs my minor issue with power adapter plug and material construction is high quality.

I bought a uniden R3 and it quickly became useful! I’m quite satisfied with my purchase!

I love having this in my car while I travel on the freeway to mammoth or Vegas. Lots of cops and u get a fair warning miles away. It’s a bit loud but it keep focus on the road. It’s worth it. No stress driving

I have not gotten a single ticket since I got this radar over 2 years ago and I’ve come very close tonot, it just hasn’t let me down.

Has a pretty good range when it comes to distance.

Still falses to K band, but does amazingly otherwise. You can't beat the range in this price point, and the rear detection is surprisingly good considering the lack of rear antenna. I only don't use it anymore because I got a Uniden R7

I did a lot of back and forth if I wanted to spend the "big bucks" on a radar detector or get a cheaper one. I'm glad I got the R3, the range is excellent. I've had KA alerts a full mile before the police car was in view.

Okay so I was trying to decide should I get this or the R7, I ended up going with R3 because of price and it seemed to not be too far off from the R7. Yes , I do wish I had the arrows but this one I recommend.

Man o man this thing has saved my you know what. 7 miles away. Alerts me. Every time. Even bought my wife one.

I love this radar not expensive or to cheap but it never let me down and I love how I can setup how I need it
