    Very good range for the price. Just wish it wouldn't advertise that it can detect "lasers" since very few radar detectors can. Still, it's already saved me from a few tickets after catching cops behind me that I didn't know were there

    i bought a 2nd one for my other car. this thing has saved me from many tickets with a lot of warning. It's small, compact, and light weight. i had a couple of Escorts in the past, but in the end. I am using my R3 for everyday commute.

    I've had this detector for around a month now. Compared to the Escort Passport 9500i it replaced this thing is awesome. Range on Ka and K are out of this world. The BSM filters work great. This is the unit to get. Great job Uniden!!

    It works amazingly well... Almost too well lol.. It super super sensitive and will go off super easily. You just have to program it to your area and what bands need filtering. Super happy with this purchase.

    Able to detect radar guns from a good distance which gives you enough time to slow down . If one don't care much about which direction this is a good product to have and completes your need .
