The difference requency filters work great too. Also, most people don't care for the windshield mount, but I think it's pretty good.

It has saved me from receiving speeding tickets many times. Specifically, the long-range feature provides detection far enough in advance that allowed me to slow down. It would go off and I would not see a cop using radar/laser until few miles down the road. I also like the distinct sound for each type of radar/laser. Although, there are more expensive detectors with more features, this one fits my budget and does the job.
